  • Behind the Scenes: Pierrot - 18 May 2026

Hello everyone! It’s been a couple of weeks since our last dev diary, and we’re back with new details about development and some interesting things that will appear in our game.In each new diary, we’ll try to focus on one specific mechanic and go a bit deeper into it.Today we’re talking about climbing — or rather, grabbing, pulling yourself up, and not falling off! Pierrot will have to go through many challenges, but we bet you didn’t expect traversal and obstacle navigation to be part of them as well. Some areas in the game cannot be crossed without using specific parkour elements. Pierrot will be able to grab onto objects and pull himself up, and to move successfully, the player will need to alternate between hands. Each hand is controlled with the left and right mouse buttons. In some places, Pierrot will literally cling to anything that can support his weight: chains, ledges, rocks, be…

  • Behind the Scenes: Pierrot - 16 April 2026

Hello everyone, this is the Pierrot dev team. The curtain rises on our first devlog, and we’ll do our best to return to the stage regularly.Today, first and foremost, we want to thank you for your interest in the game and the trust you’ve shown us. We’d also like to share a bit more about what Pierrot truly is. There are just two of us working on the project, and as players ourselves, we know a certain feeling all too well. You probably do too — that moment when you look at a game and your first thought is: “what did I just experience?” Not in terms of quality or anything like that. It’s about that sense of inner conflict that sets in almost immediately, as soon as you step onto the stage and begin to live through the experience. When horror, excitement, mystery, atmosphere, and even a quiet discomfort with the role you’re made to play all blend together. And then, somehow, it all comes…

  • Greetings everyone! We are glad to announce our First Game! - 9 April 2026

Just wanted to say hello! We’re a four-person indie team, and today we’re excited to announce Pierrot - our first project together. We’ve been working on it for about six months now. Pierrot is a psychological horror game, you play as a puppet trying to escape its cruel master. To make it out of the theater, you’ll have to face… some difficult and morally ambiguous choices.Everything in the game is handcrafted, no AI involved. From animation and visuals to code and narrative, it’s all built by us. It’s challenging (sometimes very), but creating something original without relying on AI really matters to us.We’ve also been fortunate to get support from more experienced friends who’ve helped us along the way with their expertise and guidance. It would have been much harder without them.If the game catches your interest, we’d love to answer your questions and of course hear your thoughts and…
