• Water, Fishing, Butcher, and Performance Update - 19 June 2026

  This update brings more life to the village, with new production chains, livelier worker routines, and a stronger simulation under the hood. Fishing is now part of the village economy. Build a Fishery, send Fishers to the shoreline, and watch them cast with new rod animations, work around visible shore fish schools, and bring their catch back for the kitchen. New recipes, including Grilled Fish and Meat-Filled Potato, give your cooks more to do with the growing food supply. Barn production has also grown into a fuller meat-production path. The new Butcher’s Hut, Raw Meat good, and Butcher profession add another layer to village progression, with visible worker movement, improved pig handling, tuned production capacity, and refreshed building previews and icons. • v0.2.0 - Districts - 12 May 2026

  This update introduces Districts, a new way to organize larger villages. You can now paint areas of the map into named districts, then assign haulers to work inside them. A hauler assigned to a district will focus on moving goods for that part of the village instead of trying to serve everything everywhere at once. This makes it easier to keep distant farms, workshops, and storage areas supplied as your settlement grows.Districts also help with storage. For example, you can create a farming district, place storage nearby, and have haulers keep that area stocked and cleared without constantly crossing the whole village. This lets different parts of the village become more self-contained and easier to manage.

• v0.1.2 - Road System Update - 18 April 2026

  This update introduces a new evolving road system for the village. Villagers now gradually wear paths into the terrain as they move around. Busy routes begin as dirt paths, and over time they can develop into more established cobblestone roads. The same also applies around buildings and construction sites, so the village now feels more natural and lived in as activity shapes the ground. We also improved the shape and feel of paths so they blend more naturally into the terrain, and adjusted how vegetation reacts around heavily used areas so common routes feel clearer and more believable. Alongside the road update, we fixed a number of issues to make the game feel smoother overall. Save/load behavior has been improved, and a few visual and runtime issues were resolved behind the scenes.
