Commanders!We’re happy to announce that the Escalation event is now available.It consists of two parts:First, we have overhauled the Quarterback mission for the Legendary difficulty. The mission is now considerably with a number of modifiers in two difficulty versions, both depending on the amount of modifiers in play. You can access it in the Garage by pressing the prominent PvE (Legendary) button, or by pressing a button on your HQ screen. Commanders!Today, we’d like to tell you more about a new PvE mode and event that will be hitting Armored Warfare in the near future.In early August, we are launching an event called Escalation as an introduction to the new PvE Legendary difficulty in Armored Warfare. This difficulty is tailored for Tier 10 and Legendary Vehicles only and represents our new vision of endgame PvE content.Armored Warfare has plenty of PvE content, but most of it is a bit long in the tooth and, what’s more important, players are so familiar with it they could probably pass some of the missions with their eyes closed. Commanders!Today we’d like to tell you more about a vehicle that’s coming this summer – the Chinese Type 625E!But first a bit of history as usual.The Type 625E is a Chinese gun/missile air defense system developed in 2020-2021, with trials beginning in 2021. It was first unveiled at the 2022 Zhuhai Air Show and was initially based on the ZBL-08 armored personnel carrier. A little later, it received a dedicated 8x8 chassis shared by an entire family of air defense vehicles, including a radar vehicle, a laser-based anti-drone system and others.A somewhat simplified version was accepted into service by the People’s Liberation Army and appeared during the September 3, 2025 parade.
