- Lock & Stone Demo Launch & First Feedback Update - 21 August 2026
We're live! Thank you to everyone who has played the demo so far! I have been watching posts on reddit for feedback and comments and I greatly appreciate it. Also feel free to use the community hub to highlight any notes you may have! An update to the Demo after the first 24 hours feedback has just gone like. Accessibility UpdateAdded the Ability to disable Retro Pixelation, some users were finding the pixel crunch hard to navigate. There is now a drop down in settings to turn it On/Off. The pixelation being on is the intended experience so you may encounter minor geometry or clipping when it is off, I hope you don't mind!World ChangesSome users are getting lost in the initial room since they do not yet have their light or a firm grasp of the controls, so lighting has been increased in the south side of the Main Hall.Added torches to a hallway in the back area to show a door that player…

- Dev Update - 06-12-2026 - 12 June 2026
Fixed and Smoothing Ongoing - DevLog For Updates and Upcoming Closed Playtests: Sign Up Here! Hello All! This week's work was focused on improving readability and fixing bugs.I made some big changes in the font department, the feedback on the old font was that it didn't match the pixelation of the game as it was too smooth. Made some improvements by implementing a font I purchased off itch.io and I am quite happy with the style changes.I worked on adding SFX for several in-game details, doors now squeak, torches crackle more consistently. The texture of the game is advancing nicely. It's often tricky for me to be too specific when it comes to updates since this is very much a puzzle game, but I did a lot of work to the Blue Flames to make sure the in-game economy did not break. I can say that much at least. If you're interested in getting access (likely next week), you can sign up to the…
- A Stroll Through Act I - 30 May 2026
Closed Playtests have begun for Act I of Lock & StoneI'm very thankful for my industry friends who are helping me with these early tests! For Updates and Upcoming Closed Playtests: Sign Up Here! I wanted to show some of the locations features in Act I.The Forge is an expansive room with puzzles and a large forge at the far end for you to reach.Taking a load off are we? I hope that washes off...This hall has several diving tables, an eternally lit fireplace, and a big wraparound second story. Lots of doors in here, I wonder where they go.Careful to not attract too much attention, the locals don't seem too happy to see you. Finally a place to sit and unwind... Why are all the doors locked? The Dwarves really love to mix magic and machinery don't they?
