• Demo update 1.0.1 - 3 August 2026

  Update / fix: - Text now wraps properly for all languages. Didn't know about this until now... my bad! - Default display setting is now borderless (better for streaming purposes). If you don't want the faint white outline that appears in borderless, play in fullscreen mode. - A more obvious hint for the clock puzzle Thanks for playing!

• Scenic demo announcement! - 17 July 2026

  The demo for Scenic has just been released! The demo features 3 escape rooms from the main game, with varying size and difficulty. The game also features a meta hint system that gives you clues to hidden puzzles, which will be explored more deeply in the full game. I hope the demo will give you a nice glimpse of the depth and range of what is to come later. About the demo: - Supports English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese - Expected playtime is ~1hr Sharing feedback: You can share feedback through our Discord and Steam forum. • Playtest for Scenic is now open! - 13 June 2026

  Hello everyone, Steam Playtest for Scenic is now live! You can now try an early version of the game for the very first time. We hope to test the game and improve the experience as much as possible before the demo launch. The playtest will be open for a month (Until mid July). How to join the playtest: To try the game for free, just head over to our Steam page and click 'Request Access'. About the playtest version: - Supports English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese - Expected playtime is ~40min Sharing feedback: We would love to hear your thoughts on the game. • PlayX4 2026 and our Discord channel - 12 May 2026

  I'm excited to announce that Scenic will join the PlayX4 2026 festival in KINTEX (Korea), which will be held late May! I won't have a booth but will be doing a Focus Group Test for the demo. Let me know if you happen to be around! I hope to gather many feedbacks and hopefully improve and polish the demo to its very best shape before releasing it publicly.Also, I recently created a discord server for all of my games, including Scenic. You can see the Discord link in the main page (I can't link here due to Steam policy). Feel free to join the server for future news and check out my other works as well.And with a new announcement comes a new screenshot :)

• 1,000 wishlists - thank you so much! - 26 March 2026

  It's been two weeks since our Steam page went live, and I’m happy to share that Scenic has reached 1,000 wishlists on Steam! Game development can sometimes feel like a long, dark tunnel, but moments like this make things worth it and keep me moving forward. A demo is planned to be released sometime soon this year, I’ll share an update once everything is ready.Thank you all for your support. Here’s a screenshot of a new room in progress :)
