• Achievements, Story Expanded, and more! - 21 May 2026

  Our first version of Ignore the Blackbird was made in one intense week for a game jam, but since then, we've worked on the game for two full months, and now we are finally done with the final (?) extended version.This update, in particular, adds achievements and quite a lot more story, and should make it easier to see that there is more story to discover if you click around the greenhouse with every new scene. We also added a counter at the end that shows how much of the story you have found. It counts across all your playthroughs, so you have a chance to get to 100% without needing to click through everything over and over again in one game.Since the first version, a lot more has changed. • Fix for all screen resolutions + New Game button is back - 16 May 2026

  We've implemented a fix where playing in anything other than 16:9 ratio resolution will provide borders on the diverging edge of the screen. New Game button is also back, so if you for some reason want to start over before completing the game, you now can. The game autosaves for you, so quitting and restarting with the "Play" button wil always take you to the last greenhouse you were in - before you startet that scenes puzzle.

• Full moon adjustment and bug squashing - 15 May 2026

  We updated the full moon scene to reflect our dedication to continuing the story of Sonya and the blackbird.The build, unfortunately, introduced a very silly bug that prevented the game from starting. This mistake is now corrected. Apologies to everyone who couldn't run the game for the last 12+ hours.EDIT: We also found another bug today that put puzzle objects on top of all others after being put in the right place, when they should be on the bottom. This only happened in the Steam version (not Unity) and only when using the "New Game" button instead of the "Play" button. We have temporarily removed "New Game" while we try to find the cause of this. This means that you unfortunately can't start over without completing the game. I guess this isn't a big problem for most people, but we nevertheless hope to fix it in the coming days.

  The journey continues - or starts for real, hopefully!We are incredibly happy (and almost as nervous) to finally share the extended version of Ignore the Blackbird, our first-ever commercial release, with you. What started as a game-jam project over just one intense week earlier this year is now extended and polished into something we feel is worthy to be the first installment of Sonya's story.
