- Update 7.8 - New Rivalrly Update - 15 September 2026
FIXED: careers reverting to an earlier record after closing the game FIXED: exporting now writes a real .txt file; importing no longer crashes NEW: rivals refuse to touch gloves, shove at the bell, wrestle inside, and occasionally it goes off completely The hotter the rivalry, the likelier it gets Grudge matches are dirtier — more low blows, more often deliberate A foul that ends a fight is now a disqualification A bad low blow can put a man down. It is not scored as a knockdown, but the referee sends the offender to a neutral corner and gives the victim time to recover — thirty seconds, a minute, or the full five, depending on how bad it was The boxing news now reports what actually happened — the deductions, the low blows, the mayhem Thanks to everyone sending reports, and to Jdbutler whose rivalry suggestion this update is built on.
- Update 7.7 - 8 September 2026
• NEW: Fast Sim — start a career in seconds instead of minutes • Full Presim still available if you prefer every fight fully simulated • Fixed point deductions: winning a round with your opponent docked is now 10-8 • Your corner now notices knockdowns when scoring rounds • Fighting styles now shape a fighter's stats properly • Call-out button fixed; title fights use the right rounds for the era • Fixed sponsorship money and a new rental property market
- Minor Patch 7.6 - 27 August 2026
Update — bug fixes - Fixed a trainer bug that was quietly draining your fighter's stats. The trainer's fight-night bonus was being eaten up by other fights on the card, so you'd lose a few points every month instead of keeping the boost. This was the big one. - Fixed fighter ages being off by a year. Some boxers were entering the world a year older than their actual date of birth. Ages now line up with birthdays. - Added crash reporting so that if the game ever hits a blank screen, it can now show what went wrong on the next launch — please screenshot and send it in if you see one. Thanks as always to everyone sending reports — the trainer and age fixes both came straight from player screenshots.
- Minor Update 7.5 - 22 August 2026
Fixed Stats Leakage
- Minor Patch 7.4 - 21 August 2026
• Fixed careers failing to save without warning • Saves are compressed and always keep a backup copy • Fixed stats draining \~3 points per fight from a trainer bonus removed twice • Camp and rivalry bonuses now clear properly after a bout • Yearly stat growth is no longer lost during a training camp • Saving is faster and no longer freezes • Older devices keep a reduced backup instead of none Thanks for the reports — every fix came from one.
- Minor Update 7.3 - 16 August 2026
Hotfix: • NPC fight records are no longer lost on save • Watched fights report the right winner, with scorecards • Fighters no longer age at double speed • Stats no longer go backwards — stat ceilings removed • Power grows into a fighter's prime, then fades with age • Every retired fighter is kept in the Hall of Fame • Rivalry stat boosts are temporary again • Saving a long career no longer freezes Thanks for the reports — every fix came from one.
- Update 7.2.0 - 11 August 2026
Fighter Development & Stability Fix Your stats no longer go backwards. Fighters generated with a standout attribute were having it quietly pulled down to a hidden limit — heart, stamina and recovery dropping on young fighters who hadn't taken a punch. Fixed, and we've removed stat ceilings altogether. There's no cap on how far an attribute can develop now. Power grows properly too: a fighter rated 85 reaches the mid-90s in his prime, holds it through his early thirties, then fades to around 90 at forty and 80 at forty-five. Still the last thing to go — it just goes eventually. Also fixed: • Post-fight interviews broke against fighters with an apostrophe in their name (Philadelphia Jack O'Brien and eleven others) • Closing the game mid-fight could leave a career stuck • Extra safeguards around advancing the month Thanks for the reports — all of this came from them.
- Minor Update 7.1.0 - 10 August 2026
Critical update to fix advance month issues related to the 7.0.0 update.
