- v0.3.0 — Erosion - 17 September 2026
This patch overhauls the difficulty system. Easy and Normal are now Stable and Balanced, and Hard has been broken apart into Erosion — a new 10-tier ladder that goes much further than Hard ever did, with each tier adding one more twist on top of the last. If you already cleared Hard, Erosion 2 is waiting for you right away. Good luck out there.New ContentDifficulty system overhaulEasy → Stable, Normal → BalancedHard → Erosion, a new 10-tier difficulty. Each tier includes every effect from the tiers before it.Erosion 1 — Dry AlchemyReduces the chance of Aether-infused skills appearing in the shopErosion 2 — Hardened FoesIncreases monsters' maximum healthErosion 3 — ThirstIncreases the cost of crafting potionsErosion 4 — Meager RewardsMonsters drop fewer core shardsErosion 5 — Wrathful GuardianGuardians enter their berserk state at higher healthErosion 6 — ScarcityIncreases the cost of cr…
- Coming Next Week — Erosion - 10 September 2026
No patch this week — we're taking the week off to focus on what's coming next. Instead, here's a preview of the update landing next week.ErosionErosion is the new tiered challenge system that replaces the Hard difficulty. Instead of a single "Hard" toggle, difficulty is split into tiers, and each tier stacks a new constraint on top of the previous one — leaner shops, tougher enemies, pricier potions, angrier Guardians, and more. Higher tiers reach well beyond the current Hard, for players who want a run that pushes back harder. As mentioned last time, part of Erosion is a set of terrain hazards themed to each stage — damaging floor patterns that force you to keep moving and read the arena, not just the enemies. At the highest tiers, every Guardian also gains a brand-new attack pattern of its own. Even if you know every Guardian inside out, Erosion will have something new waiting for you.S…
- v0.2.7 — Altar & Boss Soul Balance - 3 September 2026
This patch is a light balance pass centered on the Altar, giving a boost to rewards and Guardian Souls whose effects were too weak to be worth choosing, along with a small reach increase for Frostwind.Something bigger is also in the works: the Hard difficulty is being broken into several tiers — not just a finer split of what exists now, but new tiers beyond it for players who want a harder run — and part of that is a set of terrain hazards themed to each stage. More details in a future patch.BalanceAltar: Twin Growth → Full BloomRenamed, and reworked from "two random skills gain 1 level" to "all of your skills gain 1 level"Altar: Full BlessingIn addition to fully restoring HP, now also increases Max HP by 50Altar: Pact of BloodCurrent HP cost: 100–300 → 50–250Max HP gain changed from half the HP spent to the full amount spentAltar: TransmutationThe transformed skill is now taken to max…
- v0.2.6 — Chill Trace Rework & Skill Balance - 27 August 2026
This patch centers on a full rework of Chill Trace and a broad pass over skills that were falling behind. Chill Trace is no longer just a small slow on hit — landing active-skill damage now builds chill stacks, and a full stack detonates for burst damage and a stun. On top of that, a handful of skills got faster cooldowns, more damage, or bigger hitboxes. There's also a change to how Guardians handle slows: crowd control resistance now weakens the slow instead of blocking it outright. Have fun freezing things solid!BalanceSkill: Chill Trace (Reworked)Slow duration: 2s → 5s, and now refreshes every time you deal magic damageDealing damage with an active skill now adds 1 chill stack (max once per cast); each stack adds an extra -10% movement speedAt 4 stacks, the stacks are consumed to deal 100/140/180/220/260/300 magic damage and stun for 1.5sBecause the slow now scales by strength rathe…

- v0.2.2 — Enchant Fix Follow-up - 4 August 2026
A quick follow-up to v0.2.1 — the previous Enchant fix missed the root cause. The next-level offer generated in the Store and Skill Packs never carried the Enchant over, so in practice almost every level-up of an Enchanted skill stripped it. Should be fully resolved now.Bug FixesSkillsFixed Enchants being lost when leveling up via the Store or a Skill Pack, which affected most level-ups

- v0.1.4 — Save & Quit and Bug Fixes - 16 July 2026

To keep the tension intact, a save can only be loaded once and cannot be made during battle. So next time something comes up — feel free to step away for a bit!New FeaturesAdded mid-run savingUse "Save and Quit" in the pause menu to save your adventure, then resume it with "Continue" on the title screen.Cannot be used during battle.ImprovementsHovering over the wave timer now shows an explanation of how waves and bonus rewards workAdjusted the pause menu positionBug FixesFixed visible seams in the tilemap and HP bar
