The game should now feel much more polished, readable, and visually interesting. Maps Updated The maps have been updated with new layouts, extra decoration, and improved visual details.     New Update: Demo, Blocking, UI Improvements and Card Pack Changes Hi everyone! This update brings several important changes to Throne of Shards, including a playable demo, combat improvements, UI polish, and some internal cleanup. Demo Added A demo version of the game is now available! This should make it easier for new players to try the game before jumping into the full version. New Blocking Mechanic Combat has been updated with a new blocking system. Instead of attacks always going directly through, defenders can now block incoming attacks, adding more tactical depth to each battle. UI Improvements I also polished several rough UI elements across the game to make the experience cleaner and easier to read. UI Improvements Added “New” sorting A new New sort option has been added, and it is now the default sorting option. Added card zoom shortcut You can now open the card zoom view with Right Click. Gamepad support has also been added for this: press X while selecting a card to open the zoom view. Made filters toggleable Filters in the collection can now be hidden or shown.     Patch Notes Thanks a lot to everyone who reported bugs and weird card interactions. This patch focuses on card text, typos, floor/trader issues, and several effects that were not behaving correctly. Text, Names, and Typo Fixes Fixed incorrect resolution text Mindrift Lurker and Mind Wisdom were showing the wrong text while their effects were resolving. Fixed Mindrift Lurker card preview behavior Mindrift Lurker said it looked at 5 cards, but was only showing 3. Fixed card name typos Armored Prawler has been corrected to Armored Prowler. Prawler Chimera has been corrected to Prowler Chimera. Fixed Floor 2 boss name The Floor 2 boss was incorrectly labeled as ScorchSong F1 Boss. It now correctly refers to Floor 2. Updated Arcane Knowledge duplicate There were two Arcane Knowledge cards with different art and setup. These have been separated, and one of them has been turned into a new card…

    Patch Update: Floor 2 Soft Lock Fixes, UI Improvements, and Card Corrections Hi everyone! Thanks again for the recent feedback. I’ve just pushed an update that fixes several issues reported by players, including a few important problems that could interrupt a run. The biggest fix is related to Floor 2 and its “two cards per turn” rule. In some cases, the AI could get stuck trying to play additional cards after already reaching the limit, causing the game to soft lock. This should now be fixed. I also adjusted how certain card effects interact with that rule. Some effects were creating or summoning cards in a way that counted as playing extra cards unexpectedly. Cards like Gargolize, Demon Divinity, and Raise From the Dead should now behave more consistently under the Floor 2 rules.
