The Story and Setting Mexico, 1950s. You play as Jose, an alcoholic and the best moonshiner in his Region. Jose is a good guy, but he's forced to deal with bandits. He usually sells his own moonshine to them to feed himself and help the people of his village. The people of Jose's village are simple, poor peasants, and during lean years, they have a particularly hard time. In such times, Jose always helps his fellow villagers, as he's one of the few who can earn a living even in a lean year. This year was just that. Jose set out to make another deal with the bandits, of whom he already had many.
