Latest Steam announcements
- The online battle has started. - 23 September 2026
When I logged online, I was amazed to find the entire field packed with buildings.I quickly started recording and began exploring the structures when a footprint icon appeared.Someone was there. It turned out to be the person who had built the structures. After exploring the town together, we sort of mutually initiated a firefight and ended up taking each other out once.(The fight dragged on a bit because we were both hesitant about actually finishing the other off.)I was able to verify a few things:・No sound from enemy gunfire (a bug).・FPS drop due to the massive amount of building in the town (rendering methods need improvement).・Basic firefights were possible.・Respawning worked after being defeated.・Score submission to the rankings worked correctly. In short, there is a mountain of work to be done.
- Test Play v0.1.3? - New builds , Grappler - 22 September 2026
Compared to similar games, I felt the graphics were lacking. To address this, I changed the building textures from wood to a cyberpunk style.I also added a grappling hook, as movement tools are a staple in similar TPS games for zipping around the map. When I play-tested it myself, the visuals felt more dynamic and movement became much faster—but I ended up getting motion sickness...It still needs a bit more tweaking.
- v0.1.2a Update - 15 September 2026
・Fixed bugs of voice input builds ・Added head shot
- [Improvement] Making shooting feel more satisfying. - 11 September 2026
- Adjusted the field of view- Added headshots- Reduced assault rifle reload timeWe made these and other improvements to ensure Survival Mode doesn't get boring. My personal impression after playing it?Landing headshots feels great. That metallic sound is incredibly satisfying. I will work on the remaining items on the to-do list. Please stay tuned.
- v0.1.2 Update - 6 September 2026
Added lobby
- An Astonishing World Record and the Current State of Online Mode - 4 September 2026
I'd like to report that an extraordinary record has been set in the Bronze rank of Build / Zero Build survival mode. Build:536 Zero Build:116 536 is an amazing number. It likely takes quite a bit of time to defeat that many. I’d like to thank the players who took on the challenge of setting this record. We are also seeing an increasing number of traces left by players in the online "Free Build" mode. I make regular rounds myself, so if our login times happen to overlap, a battle might just break out. We plan to release an update soon that introduces a lobby screen. Stay tuned!
- 0.1.1 update - 24 August 2026
・Added VRoid Hub Connection (offline mode) ・Added Voice-input-build system (offline mode) ・Improved GUI
- Connected to VRoid Hub - 21 August 2026
We have implemented VRoid Hub connection, allowing you to use models from the Hub—provided they meet the usage terms—directly within the game. This opens up access to countless models, going far beyond the four models included by default. We aim to release a demo version as soon as possible. Please stay tuned.
- 【Steam Demo Update】Ultimate Bot Released - 18 August 2026
We have updated the Steam demo to allow players to select the "Diamond" difficulty level—the highest tier—for the 1v1 building mode against the CPU.Experience the intensity of an opponent that executes lightning-fast building edits and attacks. The aim of this update is to showcase what makes *Girlsnite* stand out.We believe the game's greatest strength is the ability to experience combat that rivals real player-vs-player (PvP) matches while playing offline against the CPU. However, previous versions of the demo only offered the weakest "Bronze" level (where the bot simply swings its axe), meaning most players never had the chance to face a truly skilled bot.We believe there is a demand for high-level CPU matches among:・Players who find PvP combat stressful・Players who lack human opponents to play againstThis insight stems from my own experiences playing popular building-based TPS games.…

- 【Demo version update】 Online Mode is available (Limited Access) - 7 August 2026
We have updated the demo version to open the online mode. (limited access) Although it has been about a week since the online mode launched for the full version, our servers still have significant spare capacity, so we decided to make the online mode available in the demo version on a limited basis. Please note that the demo version is subject to connection restrictions during times of high server traffic, whereas the full version allows for connections at any time. We hope you take this opportunity to try out the online mode. Thank you for your support.
- Shout "Box"! World's First. Build Magic Test. - 5 August 2026
We tested "Build Magic" via voice input—a feature we had envisioned since the early stages of development. The first magic is "Box."It allows you to instantly escape from the tactic—common in mainstream building games—that you trap an opponent inside builds.Normally, this maneuver requires rapid mouse movement and quick switching between building pieces; however, with this feature, you simply aim your view at the target grid and say "Box" into the microphone, and four walls and two roof pieces are automatically constructed. I plan to pour all the ideas overflowing into it. The next Magic scheduled for implementation might include things like a "Tower" that creates a "High ground". Furthermore, if advanced Magic could instantly summon massive structures—such as the "Tokyo Sky-tree," the "Berlin Wall," or the "Sagrada Família"—it would likely result in a chaotic battle unlike anything seen…

- Fixed some bugs. - 29 July 2026
Fixed some bugs.
- Online Multiplayer Mode Available Now! (v0.1.0 update) - 29 July 2026
You can battle against players from around the world online. It features a chaotic free-for-all style where you respawn immediately after being defeated, allowing you to jump right back into the action.I released the game last night and checked this morning; the server is running smoothly.I would love to hear from you if you spot other players or manage to face off against them.I also welcome any other feedback or impressions regarding the gameplay.
- 0.1.0 update - 28 July 2026
Added online multi-player mode
- Verifying build, edit and destruction of builds in online multiplayer mode - 27 July 2026
I have verified the mechanics for building, editing, and destroying structures in online mode.So far, there appear to be no critical bugs.During the demo gameplay, server CPU usage hovered around 5%.I am a bit concerned about whether the system can keep up if a massive number of structures are destroyed all at once, but I plan to make improvements moving forward. Will this allow players from around the world to battle each other?I am rushing to get everything ready for release.Stay tuned.
- Verifying character movement in online multiplayer mode - 25 July 2026
I’ve verified the movement mechanics, such as character control and shooting.I haven't yet implemented the finer details, like the specific recoil actions for other characters. When moving around freely and viewing the action from another character's sight, the movement feels incredibly swift.Given my own skill level, I don't think I could aim on someone moving like that. The emotes are working perfectly, too.It really reminded me just how cute VRoid models are.It might be fun to show some emote to each other during online play. All that's left is to verify the building, editing, and build-destruction mechanics. It might be a bit of a challenge, but once I get that sorted, I should be ready to release it.Stay tuned!
