  Hi. FINAL PATCH UPDATE This is more or less an announcement for an upcoming patch rather than a patch itself. I've received some reports over two main issues: an achievement softlock and lack of a skip button.These are issues I have been attempting to address for a while behind the scenes, and while I'm fairly certain I've fixed the achievement thing, the skip button has been a constant thorn in my side. The reason for it is kind of long an convoluted, but let's just say it caused certain animations and events to not load properly.I say all of this to say that I finally, FINALLY found a solution for it after all this time. I discovered it whilst working on my next game, which had a similar issue until now.So that's it then, right? problem solved? Well, almost. • First post-launch Patch wait didn't I already do this - 5 June 2026

  Hello Retro Exorcist Fans! *cricket sounds* We've got an exciting update coming this way. And by exciting, I mean should have already been in the game but I was neglectful and didn't really know what I was doing. And by coming this way, I mean it's already here. Here's a list of fixes and changes - Fixed bug during the third anomaly (Kumiko) where the player could skip to the fourth anomaly (Necrosis). I already did this...literally 1 day ago, but I messed with it a little more just to be sure. - Added a safeguard where, in case the bug persists, it'll cut to Kumiko's fail scene. Not the most elegant solution, but it's only there in case the issue somehow persists, which it shouldn't. - Made it so that all music should stop upon deleting an anomaly. - Fixed a ton of spelling and grammatical errors. Admittedly, I have astronomical levels of dyslexia and just didn't notice a lot of these.…

• First post-launch patch - 4 June 2026

  Addressed a bug during Kumiko's section where a lack of available questions jumped directly into Necrosis' section. That's it. Thank you to everyone who sent in bug reports. Admittedly, I did not have too many play testers on this project as I assumed there would not be as many since this is a polished version of a game I already released. Evidently, this was not the case. I will be more prudent on play testing going forward. Will address any spelling/grammar errors once all of them have been gathered in a future patch, as well as some other bits of cut content that was unable to be added previously.
