Lead your nation through one of the most transformative eras of history as you manage diplomacy, economics, and politics. GAMEPLAY Choose to play as any one of the dozens of nations that existed at the start of the 19th century. Grow your economy by expanding industry, exploiting natural resources, and balancing trade. Research technology to give you an edge over your rivals. Influence internal politics to ensure stability, pass reforms, and appease opposing political interests. Use diplomacy to forge alliances, negotiate treaties, and maintain the balance of power—or strive to do away with it entirely. Engage in warfare across the world, ordering your armies to achieve war aims or by manually taking charge.
