• Apotheosis Engine - Major Rework - 22 July 2026

  The original game concept I uploaded for 'Apotheosis engine looked like this, an idle game where you, a probe, flew left to right, collected matter and upgraded yourself.It was fun, but it wasn't fun or polished enough to really release commercially, and as the game grew, it had more and more issues and because laggy and not fun to play. I struggled to design it in a way that the growth felt meaningful.Over the past few months I have been reworking Apotheosis Engine, as can be seen from the following screenshot:Apotheosis Engine has been rebuilt in Love2d; a much better framework for this sort of game,, and there's so much more to do now. The original gameplay has been preserved in a tiny, in-game app and has grown from so much more than what it originally was.I look forward to releasing Apotheosis Engine in 2026!

• Apotheosis Engine Demo Released! - 15 May 2026

  The demo version of 'Apotheosis Engine' has been released. It is now available to download via Steam. The demo includes a recent version of 'Stage 1- Probe', although the experience is subject to change for the final release. Check it out and leave some feedback!The first stage is a pure incremental game; the probe flies, you click and optimise and build. Future stages have much more varied gameplay!
