• Major Technology, Graphics & Stability Update - 4 September 2026

  With this update, the entire project has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.8. Alongside that upgrade, many technical systems have been reworked, stabilized, and visually improved. Graphics settings and Frame Generation have been significantly improved and stabilized. AMD FSR, AMD Frame Generation, NVIDIA DLSS, and NVIDIA Frame Generation have been better integrated and tested. Frame Generation changes are now applied reliably after restarting the game. A restart notice has been added to the options menu. Intel XeSS has been temporarily removed to avoid stability issues. Hardware Lumen and Hardware Ray Tracing have been reviewed, adjusted, and re-enabled. Graphics presets have been improved and rebalanced. Shadows remain more visible even on lower graphics settings. • Patch 1.8 Improved Video Performance and Reduced Stuttering - 16 July 2026

  Video playback has been extensively reworked and optimized. Videos now run much more smoothly and cause fewer performance issues. Stuttering and lag should be significantly reduced, especially on systems with limited video memory. Memory usage has also been improved, allowing videos to perform better across a wider range of hardware configurations.

• Update 1.7 Lighting and Performance Update - 15 July 2026

  I have reworked the lighting inside the house. It is now a bit brighter, so players can see more clearly, but it is not too bright and the atmosphere is still preserved. I also fixed and optimized some lights, which should slightly improve performance.

• Church Scene & Credits Video Adjusted - 10 July 2026

  Patch Notes – Description: With this update, an important change has been made to the scene that starts when you go up to the church. At that point, a credits-style video begins. Some players thought this meant the game was already over. However, that is not the case — the game continues after this scene. To make sure players do not accidentally open the menu or stop playing at that moment, the ESC key has been disabled during this sequence. This way, players will stay in the game afterward and can continue playing the story until the actual ending. I also want to clarify that the music used in this scene is copyright-free and approved for use together with the game. YouTubers, streamers, and content creators are allowed to use this music in gameplay videos, streams, or Let’s Plays of the game. Thank you for your feedback, and have fun continuing the game!
