THE END OF ALL THINGS "The Complex are powerful beings, a battle between 2 of them can reshape mountains, and carve out new seas..." A weapon beyond comprehension, capable of raining down death anywhere on the planet at any time from it's orbital throne has been unleashed onto the world. You, a Complex being, wake up with a sword, and no memories except how to use it. The stage is set for you to oppose this terrible weapon and the faction behind it's creation with nothing even close to a plan, but with no choice but to do it, the planet doesn't have much time left... Set out on an adventure, slashing through all that oppose you, bringing [PUNISHMENT] to the world , making allies and enemies while uncovering a terrible prophecy that will bring untold death to the world, the [CALAMITY] . "this monstrosity... that is carving out the world in large chunks for the ambitions of small creatures." Enemies in this game will gang up on you, they will try to misdirect and punish you for bad moves, and they will destroy you in a few hits. You'll need good timing, positioning and control of your sword to get to slice through and overcome those who oppose you. The Arsenal Menu allows you to equip attacks to create your own synergies and combo strings, through a combination of Extenders, Finishers and Heat Attacks. Some attacks can be used both in the air and on the ground, others in one state only. You'll need to plan well, and execute even better. The stage has been set, you will bear witness to the Great Calamity. Facing this challenge will be difficult on your own, you'll need strong allies to overcome this world steeped in conflict. Though, when it comes down to make the ultimate choice, will your friends have the same goals as you? The story is told both through in game dialog and manga panels.
