  • UPDATE: The Ash Gets a Voice โ€” Sound, Timing, and Ten Boards - 10 September 2026

THE ASH GETS A VOICE Eight of this game's nineteen card elements had a sound of their own. All 243 enemies hit you with the same one. The map, the Ash Riddles and every one of the 21 regions played nothing at all. This update is about the half of a fight you were not being told about โ€” what it sounds like, when it lands, and what a card is about to do before you commit it. Everything below is free, and none of it is a second purchase. ๐Ÿ”Š Forty-six New SoundsEvery element hits differently. All nineteen card types now land with their own recorded impact, and every one of the twenty enemy strike families โ€” claw, slam, pierce, hex and the rest โ€” has its own blow. One sound for 243 foes is over. Two more tracks. The map and the Ash Riddles used to fall silent between fights; both have music now. Seven ambience beds. • MAJOR UPDATE: Four Statuses โ€” 310 Cards, a Living Battlefield, Reforged Packs - 8 September 2026

FOUR STATUSES Every status this game has added since launch arrived locked behind a pack. GODS, The Crossing, The Ancients โ€” each brought new words, and each kept them on its own shelf. The fifteen heroes you started with have not learned one since Blind. Four arrive now, one for each corner of the board, with 310 cards to play them. Behind them: an arena that finally moves, an idle battle screen that stopped burning a fifth of your CPU on nothing, and three expansions that at last say out loud what they grew into. Everything in this post is free. Nothing below is a second purchase. ๐ŸŒ€ Four New WordsOne per quadrant of the status board โ€” two you carry, two the enemy does. Each was chosen by subtraction: nothing on the board did this yet. ๐ŸŒ€ Momentum โ€” yours. Every hit you land deals +1 for each card you played earlier this turn, to a ceiling of +5. • GODS โ€” Out Now: Six Gods, 240 Cards, One Rule Each - 31 August 2026

GODS โ€” OUT NOW Two of them came back on their own. These six want paying. Hestia, Khione, Ares, Demeter, Apollo and Athena are playable today โ€” six gods, forty cards each, and one rule apiece that no other hero in the kingdom is allowed to break. Zeus, Hades and the whole Pantheon continent stay free for everyone, exactly as they shipped. โšก Six Gods, Forty Cards EachA god does not share cards with the roster, and does not share cards with the other gods. • MAJOR UPDATE โ€” The Ancients: Five Legends, 155 New Cards, Daily Quests - 23 August 2026

THE ANCIENTS The kingdom burned, and somewhere past the edge of its maps five people were already legends. Gilgamesh, Amaterasu, Cleopatra, Lu Bu and Yi Sun-sin fight in a school this kingdom never learned โ€” no Resonance bar, no reservoir, fifteen Signatures instead โ€” and they bring two countries, twenty-one enemies and nine new statuses with them. • MAJOR UPDATE โ€” The Crossing: Five New Heroes, 279 New Cards, a Game Story - 17 August 2026

THE CROSSING There was always a sea, and the game never once said what was on the other side of it. Five heroes have crossed it. They bring three schools nobody in the kingdom fights with, the first critical hits the game has ever had, and two countries that are on no map you have played. • MAJOR UPDATE โ€” The Pantheon: Zeus, Hades, Ash Riddles, 94 New Foes - 14 August 2026

THE PANTHEON IS HERE Something older than the kingdom has walked back into it. Zeus and Hades arrive today โ€” free for everybody โ€” along with the ground they walk on and everything already living there. Six more gods are on their way behind them. This is the largest update Kingdom of Ashes has had, and it brings a second way to play. Two new countries, ninety-four new enemies, fifty-four hand-built puzzle boards, every existing DLC grown, and the Resonance system rebuilt from the rule up. โšก The GodsA god has no strengths and no weaknesses. THE PANTHEON โ€” COMING SOON Something older than the kingdom is walking back into it. Eight gods are coming to Kingdom of Ashes, each one built around a single power no other hero can build toward โ€” and two of them are arriving free for everybody, along with the ground they walk on and everything already living there. • MAJOR UPDATE โ€” Claimed Ground: Seven New Regions, 90 Map Hazards, 11 New Foes - 7 August 2026

CLAIMED GROUND โ€” MAJOR UPDATE 0.59.0 The kingdom was eight countries. It is fifteen. Seven new regions, each with its own six hazards and its own way of fighting you. A bestiary that answers to where you are instead of who you brought. A boss that belongs to its country and never leaves it. And a region you win is a region you hold โ€” a claim that keeps paying every time you come back. ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Seven New RegionsThree for the base game, two for Overflow, two for Day & Night. The Riven Crags โ€” a split summit and a switchback road. Cover fails here: blows come down past your guard, and what you raise wears through twice as fast. The Undermarch โ€” the march that goes down. What you carry below is buried, and the heap of it feeds whatever is waiting. • MAJOR UPDATE โ€” Ash Ascendant: One Ascension Ladder, 48 Map Hazards, 17 New Foes - 4 August 2026

ASH ASCENDANT โ€” MAJOR UPDATE 0.52.0 Sixty-one patches in one. Everything since Deeper Kingdom: one Ascension ladder instead of twenty separate grinds, forty-eight hazards that can be waiting on a map node, seventeen new things living in the ash, a bestiary where every number comes off one table โ€” and cards that finally print what they are actually going to do. โš”๏ธ Ascension Is One Ladder NowIt used to be twenty independent grinds. Every hero climbed alone, twenty-one wins each โ€” four hundred and twenty wins to see the top of the game. That is gone. • v0.16.0 MAJOR UPDATE โ€” Ashes Remade: Save Your Run, 56 New Cards, etc. - 27 July 2026

ASHES REMADE โ€” MAJOR UPDATE 0.16.0 The kingdom has been rebuilt from the sprite up. This is everything since the Day & Night DLC in one patch: a run you can walk away from, 56 new cards, twenty heroes whose traits finally do what the card text promised, and a top-to-bottom art and effects rework. ๐Ÿ’พ Save Your Run โ€” Quit Anywhere, Come BackRuns no longer die when you close the game. Short description

A single-player roguelike deck-builder set in a fallen kingdom. Draft cards, chain elemental resonances, fight through procedural maps of battles, shrines, and bosses. Spend Ash at the Forge for permanent upgrades. Eight heroes, brutal Ascension tiers.

About this game

The night the kingdom fell, you alone survived. From the ashes of a broken throne, forge a deck, master the elements, and march back into the dark to face what took it from you. Kingdom of Ashes is a single-player roguelike deck-builder where every run is a climb through a kingdom that has been broken into countries. Where you are decides what you fight, what the ground does to you, and what the fight pays. Draft cards, stack relics, chain resonances, and take a country for yourself โ€” or be unmade in it. Key Features Roguelike Deck-Building โ€” Draft your opening deck card by card, then reshape it every fight. 220 cards in the base game, across seven elements plus neutral and utility schools. No two runs build the same engine. Fifteen Fallen Heroes โ€” Each with their own starting core, signature mechanic, and traits that unlock as Mastery levels climb. A Pyromancer plays nothing like a Bloodseer, and nothing like a Runecaster who counts elements instead of copies. Elemental Resonance โ€” Play three cards of one element in a single turn to trigger Resonance. Or take the Runecaster's Rune Chain and be paid for diversity instead, across 3, 4, 5 and 6 unique elements. A Kingdom of Countries โ€” Fifteen regions, six of them in the base game, and a region is not a colour swatch: it is six hazards that belong to it. The Riven Crags come down past your guard. The Undermarch buries what you carry. The Wrack Strand corrodes what you hold. Ninety Map Hazards โ€” A combat node can carry up to three, badged on the map before you step in, and every one of them pays: more gold, better rarity, more Ash. Climb the ladder and they get denser โ€” a fourth rolled hazard, then one pinned to the elite, then one pinned to the boss. Claim the Ground โ€” Win a run in a region and it remembers the highest Ascension you took it at. That claim has three tiers, and each one gives that country's own named blessing a better chance to fire โ€” Fortify, Fury, Sure-Footed, Wellspring, Equinox, and eleven more, one per region. One Board, Eighteen Node Kinds โ€” A 5ร—14 map with a spine you can never skip and two branch columns either side: the near column is risk, the far column is reward, and nothing thaโ€ฆ

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Sep 22, 2026 to Sep 22, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $8.09
  • Highest observed: $8.09

Kingdom of Ashes - Fallen Era's USD price history spans from Sep 22, 2026 to Sep 22, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $8.09, the highest is $8.09, and the first visible tracked price is $8.09. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 1
  • Discounted days: 1 day
  • Deepest markdown: -10%
  • Latest sale window: Sep 22, 2026 to Sep 22, 2026

SteamPulse has grouped rows carrying discount metadata into 1 recorded discount window, covering 1 calendar day and 1 discounted snapshot. The deepest recorded markdown is -10%, with a lowest recorded final price of $8.09 during rows named Steam sale. The latest recorded window starts Sep 22, 2026 and ends Sep 22, 2026, spanning 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking. Window boundaries follow the available snapshots, so gaps in coverage can make an actual sale shorter or longer than the recorded span.

Recorded sale names include Steam sale. The table reports the observed markdown, final price, snapshot dates, and any sale name supplied with the row. It can show whether similar discounts recur in the retained record, but it does not infer publisher intent, demand, or the reason a price changed.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $8.09, from Sep 22, 2026 through Sep 22, 2026. The latest run records $8.09 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking with a listed discount from $8.99. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $8.09
  • Current list price: $8.99
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Kingdom of Ashes - Fallen Era at $8.09 in USD, with a listed base price of $8.99 and a -10% markdown. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
