- HMS wins IndieDB Creativity Award - 27 December 2016
It's fair to say that, given how late in the year Her Majesty's SPIFFING was released, that we've flew under the radar of most people's GOTY lists (can't think of any other reasons for being omitted)! :P However, we're happy to announce that the lovely editorial team at IndieDB have awarded Her Majesty's SPIFFING with their 2016 Creativity Award. Winners of the Players Choice Awards will be announced later today so do keep your eye on the IndieDB website for more information on top indie games.

- General BUG: Crashing during intro sequence - 13 December 2016
UPDATE: We believe that this is fixed now, if anyone is still experiencing this issue please get in touch or leave a comment below. Thanks for your patience! A few people have reported that they are experiencing a bug crashing the game during the intro sequence. We are looking into this now and are hoping to have a fix in an update very soon. WORK AROUND In the meantime, a work around is to simply skip the intro before reaching the point of the crash (seems to be happening for most when Her Majesty walks in front of the bookcase, about 24 seconds into the sequence). To skip the sequence double click left mouse or double tap the A button if you're using a gamepad before this point. Click here to view the intro sequence for reference. Good, bad or indifferent we've included all the reviews we've came across for Her Majesty's SPIFFING on all platforms and listed them below. For those sitting on the fence this will hopefully help inform you whether it's worth taking the plunge or passing by. From highest to lowest: GameReactor UK, 9/10 (PS4) - Now that the credits have rolled we're left hoping for the return of captain English and sub lieutenant Jones (if the game sells well, so says the devs). The writing is very funny and although the game is short, it's full of laughs. Twinfinite, 4.5/5 (PC) - The only problem with the game is that I wanted more of it. Her Majesty’s Spiffing will run you about four hours. Once you reach its end, the game is very clear with the player stating that ‘This story will continue… maybe… if we get enough sales’. GameReactor.se, 9/10 (Xbox One, Swedish) - Fantastisk humor, smarta och logiska…

- MacOS BUG: Right click on trackpad - 7 December 2016
UPDATE: This issue should now be fixed, please update your game and sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry everyone, it has been brought to our attention that on some version MacOS there is an issue preventing right clicking using a trackpad. We are working on a fix at the moment and anticipate uploading it tomorrow (Thursday 8th December). Sorry for the inconvenience, in the meantime a work around is to use a Bluetooth/ USB mouse or gamepad. We will upload a fix as soon as possible, thanks for your patience.
