Unorthodox Rules is a psychological mystery-comedy deduction adventure inspired by Ace Attorney and Liar Game — about reading people, exposing contradictions, and surviving unfair rule-based games. You wake up inside a strange university with no memory, a head wound, and a masked referee forcing students into a series of twisted contests. Each major chapter features a different deadly game, a different opponent, and a different set of rules to understand, exploit, and overturn. Victory is not about luck. Investigate your surroundings, question suspicious characters, collect clues, and piece together the hidden logic behind each game. Then use what you have learned to predict your opponents, manipulate the rules, expose their contradictions, and survive battles designed to make you lose. The current demo introduces the core loop through a high-stakes game of rock-paper-scissors — the first of several unfair games in the full story. Unorthodox Rules combines investigation, character-driven mystery, card-based deduction puzzles, contradiction-based reasoning, and high-stakes psychological battles. Expect bluffing, hidden motives, ridiculous suspects, dramatic turnabouts, unfair rules, and opponents who are already convinced they have won.
