- UPDATE v541 Generic Gamepad Support - 28 November 2016
The latest update for Take Thy Throne includes a frequent asked for feature: gamepad controls! You can now assign gamepad controls by plugging in your gamepad and going to Settings -> Controls. There you will see a new button for a new menu: "Gamepad" This new menu will show you how to offset your right analog control stick angle (for aiming with a class such as the archer) if it's offset for whatever reason, and will also allow you to assign buttons to various action keys. Movement keys are with the leg analog stick. This game requires your gamepad to have two analog sticks.

Happy Halloween! This update includes two new classes, a new achievement, a spooky re-skin of the maps, new halloween themed music and several other updates and bug fixes. Update list: - Added an achievement for Halloween event (simply start up the game) - Added two new classes: Ninja and Necromancer - Ninja is able to wield two swords and slash at a fast rate at a cost with a lower amount of damage dealt from each swing - Ninja can also 'zip' forward and deal damage to enemies in a line - Necromancer fires skulls as its basic attack - Necromancer can also spawn skeletons. Skeletons have a higher speed than golems and do extra damage. Skeletons don't last very long and will expire after a short amount of time Bug Fixes / Alterations: - Nerfed the Mage slightly - Buffed the Helper - Fixed the Helper from not being able to mine ore/chop trees - Fixed increasing towers'/barriers' HP from g…

- Allowed players to filter gamemodes. Players can now look at all possible matches with all possible gamemodes. Filtering by region for NON-Steam servers is also possible now. In the above screenshot you will notice there are now sword icons above each gamemode thumbnail. You can right click to toggle them. If they have a sword, then matches with that gamemode will show up in the list of matches in the main menu. Toggle it off if you wish to narrow it down. For example, you will get matches in the lobby with gamemodes: "Take Thy Throne" and "Capture the Flag", but not "Dragon Slayer". Greyed out gamemodes and "Tutorial" cannot be filtered. Onto the rest of the completed tasks in this update: - Finished a new map for smaller amounts of players (1v1, 2v2) - Fixed a bug with Dragon getting stuck in 'hurt' position - Nerfed the mage's special ability damage - Fixed a bug in one of the towe…

- Allowed players to switch between STEAM and NON-STEAM servers via a button on the main menu. Hopefully this will allow STEAM players to find more players who have bought the game through NON-STEAM marketplaces. This also allows direct IP/Port connections.

- Fixed an issue with menus not being reached - Added more connection information in lobbies to hopefully allow players to see who cannot connect to who and to solve by opening a UDP port on their NAT to possibly resolve issue - Added a solutions topic in game discussions to help people who are having connection issues - Prevented game from starting if there are connection issues thus preventing possible crashes
