It is the limit of the technology the game runs on, and this post is about what we are doing to lift it. The Short Version We have been building our own destruction system alongside the game. It breaks things at the moment they break, instead of storing every piece a building could become inside the level in advance.   DEMO IT launches September 3 — two weeks early We had DEMO IT down for September 18. It is coming out on September 3 instead. The reason is simple: the build is finished. We would rather have you playing it than sit on a finished game for another fortnight — and since the entire point of launching in Early Access is to find out what players think, every week we wait is a week of not knowing. Nothing changes about what you get. It is the same build we have been testing: six jobs, five tools, and two sandboxes to knock down with no objective attached. It is a small, complete loop that we intend to grow, and we would rather grow it with you in the room. If you have wishlisted it, Steam will let you know on the day. If you have not, now is a good moment. See you then! And bring your hard hat!
