  Hello Switch pilots! A patch has just been released for Switch 'N' Shoot (version 1.3.5). As mentioned in the earlier beta notes, this update brings the following changes... What's new Fix for blank screen on Linux A number of Linux users reported a blank screen when starting the game, with audio playing in the background. The game has been rebuilt with a much more recent and stable version of Unity, which brings a bunch of its own fixes over. I gathered feedback from the beta version of this patch. Several players told me that it fixed the issue for them, whilst others told me it did not. If you continue to experience this problem after the update, please try the fix in this discussion thread. • Achievement Requirement Changes - 21 April 2020

  The requirements for unlocking two of the 'grindy' achievements have been reduced. This was in response to feedback from several players. Ultrahyperdrive - Hyperdrive 125 times (reduced from 250). Yakety Sacs - Kill 25 Incubators (reduced from 25). These changes were made in the Steam back-end and no update is required for the actual game itself. If you restart Steam you should see the new values take effect. If you had already passed the new thresholds but not the old ones, you should see the achievement(s) unlock automatically when Steam starts. Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback so far! I'm a solo developer so receiving feedback is super helpful for improving the game, even a few years after it's released! :) If you have any more points to discuss you can share them... on the forums in my Discord Thanks! • Update 1.3.2 - 26 September 2019

  Version 1.3.2 is now available. The main change is to address problems that could arise if you switched between Full-Screen modes using Mac OS's maximise button or Alt+Enter. Changes: Bug fix: switching full-screen mode using the main OS buttons or Alt+Enter no longer causes problems with the interface. The game will now automatically detect changes made outside the Options menu and adjust accordingly. Added consolation credit hotkeys for Arcade version. Added "ASS" to the list of naughty names (oops).
