To celebrate the launch of Salvaged to Steam Early Access, were delighted to announce the release of the Salvaged: VR Comic! The Salvaged: VR Comic is available right now to download for free from iTunes and the Google Play Store and can be viewed with any smartphone-compatible VR viewer (Cardboard etc.). The first chapter of the comic is also available on YouTube and the Salvaged Facebook page! Designed as a unique introduction to the expansive new world of Salvaged, the VR Comic is an audio-driven experience that takes viewers through Alex Pieterson’s latest journey to the distant space station Roulette. Two chapters of the comic are currently available, with more chapters set for release over the coming weeks. There s a famous scene in Aliens where Ripley and the company men watch as the marines make their way through a derelict colony base, giving orders and eventually seeing them succumb to untold numbers of xenomorphs over their helmet cams. Salvaged is that idea extracted and put into a videogame. You play a commander who controls and observes AI soldiers as they sweep different spaceships for bits and pieces, investigating what went wrong. It looks a lot like Duskers , but with burly men instead of poor, doomed robots. It s out today on Steam early access and you can see how it works in the trailer below. …

After the huge wave of support we received upon our approval on Steam Greenlight, we’ve been taking the time to ensure the game is everything it can possibly be. We’re now fully confident in the game and looking forward to hearing your responses. For those who’ve not been following our game from the beginning, Salvaged is a unique sci-fi strategy game with an emphasis on its weaving narrative and customisable gameplay.
