• Gameplay Fixes, 3 Daily Attempts & Clearer Mode Selection - 8 October 2026

  • Daily Challenge now allows 3 attempts per UTC day and shows how many attempts remain. Leaving a run consumes an attempt. Only a higher score replaces your daily best. • Opening the ESC settings menu now pauses gameplay until you close it. • Fish-paid Gacha rolls now increase their price gradually by 2% per purchase. Spending fish no longer makes subsequent rolls cheaper, and prices persist between sessions. • Soot can no longer be retired or discarded to repeatedly farm rewards or reroll his rarity. Legitimate Heroic Soot cats retain their rarity when loading. • Mode selection now clearly shows map counts, Dungeon availability and Igris unlocks, with new illustrated icons. – Single Seam: 8 maps through the Core. – Wandering Miners: 9 maps, including the Chasm. Reach the Core after 3 relocations to access the Chasm, Dungeon and Igris. • The Dungeon button is now hidden in Single Seam.…

  Hey, miners! 🐾 This update brings several fixes and improvements: • Improved achievement tracking and unlock handling. • Improved Steam leaderboard connection handling and retries after failed requests. • Added a Dungeon button that shows where it unlocks, with clearer text and proper locked and unlocked states. • Clarified how to unlock more cats through the Crew Path. • Added clearer explanations to the Single Seam and Wandering Miners buttons. • Replaced green clickable indicators with a softer glow in the skill tree. • Adjusted Soot’s rarity: new arrivals roll below Heroic, while discovering Soot reveals all rarity entries in the collection. • Fixed misplaced locked labels in the sidebar.
