This update adds optimizations for playing with the HTC Vive Cosmos. Especially the plushy mode was adjusted to work with the Cosmos' inside-out tracking and the new controllers.
- New trailer using mixed reality footage - 31 July 2019
Hello there, we just released our new trailer for the game. It uses mixed reality footage to show how it feels for the player to be part of the game and actively hold the virtual cat in her real hands. https://youtu.be/qVSbo68HsPM It took a lot of work wo make this happen and there is a whole story behind it. We set up a big greenscreen area (3 walls and the floor in green) and also wrapped a plushy in green cloth. Then we shot the footage with a DSLR and a Vivetracker mounted on top of it. This was then attached to a gimbal for having smooth motion and avoid "shakey cam" footage. Editing was really hard, although the lighting of the greenscreen was good, we needed to do a lot of manual steps to make the plushy fit perfectly with the real cat. We just wanted to inform you, that there will be a small update coming in the 3rd week of October that brings some Halloween ambience to your little kitten. The update will also introduce the first build that is running on Unity 2018 (that was a big leap for us). Besides this little update, we are still working on the large update that is scheduled for winter.
