About this game
A Decent Farewell is a narrative-driven VR experience about death, grief, memory, and the rituals surrounding a final goodbye. Step into a quiet and unsettling funeral environment and take part in the process of preparing for a farewell. Through first-person VR interaction, players explore the space, handle objects, examine personal belongings, and gradually uncover the story behind the person and the place around them. What begins with an atmosphere of uncertainty and psychological horror slowly develops into a more personal story about memory, loss, and human connection. Features Narrative-driven VR experience Discover the story through environmental details, objects, and interactions rather than traditional exposition. Hands-on VR interaction Use tracked motion controllers to interact directly with objects and complete story-driven tasks within the environment. Atmospheric exploration Explore an intimate funeral setting shaped by unsettling imagery, quiet spaces, and environmental storytelling. Psychological horror elements The experience uses tension and disturbing themes surrounding death rather than focusing solely on conventional horror.
