  • Patch v1.0.8 - 6 December 2016

Improvements: Added the localization of russian language. Now the menu to choose level has the last level played selected by default, instead of the last one unlocked. The darkening level of the target pieces has been reduced to minimize confusion between colors of similar hue. Fixes: All achievements related to the global leaderboard have been removed because I consider them unfair to new players. They were "hidden" achievements but it did not work as expected, (the "hidden" property only hides the description of the achievement). Fixed minor bugs at replayability options for previously completed levels, (using the "Retry" option did not replay the music or update the high score). Fixed the score required to obtain the Cubotrox at level 51 “Spy Chameleon”. Fixed randomization of the particle effect at the end of a level. Notes: Mac OS X version is still at 1.0.7 because of technical pr…

  • Patch v1.0.7 - 16 November 2016

Improvements: Added 3 options (“Retry”, “Continue” and “Main menu”) after the score recount sequence when player has completed the level previously. These are intended to enhance the replayability of levels in case the player wants to repeat them to get the Cubotrox or improve his leaderboard position. Fixes: Fixed the spanish character “¿” Changed 2 achievement titles to avoid obscene language: Holy shit! → Oh my god! The fucking master → The Big Boss Simplified chinese localization: The 3 missing in-game texts have been translated, ( "game paused", "game over" and "level completed!"), and also all titles and descriptions of the achievements.

  • Cubotrox - Catch, drop and rotate cubes to solve retro-futuristic neon puzzles - 11 November 2016

What’s exactly Cubotrox? Cubotrox is an addictive puzzle game that challenges you to complete pixel art images by managing falling neon-colored cubes. Catch, drop and rotate your way to victory in a game with retro-futuristic neon visuals and synth-retro-wave music that excels at being “easy to play, hard to master”. EASY MECHANICS THAT ADD UP TO KILLER MIND-BREAKING CHALLENGES The game can be summed up in a real easy way: you have pixel art images that must be completed by managing some neon-colored cubes that are constantly appearing from all sides of the screen. You must manage these cubes to complete the image. Mechanics are rather simple: catch, drop and rotate the cubes and rotate all the screen. But as you progress you start to face increasing challenges related to the limited time, the management of the cubes, the frequency of the cubes’ fall, etc. But there’s no use on explaini…
