  🚁 August 13. It's real and it's happening. There, I said it. After all these years, we are finally launching Choppa: Rescue Rivals on August 13, 2026! On Steam and Nintendo Switch, simultaneously! For those just tuning in: Choppa: Rescue Rivals is our helicopter rescue action/adventure game where you pilot your physics-based chopper through a series of increasingly hazardous rescue missions around the world. You'll choose from a diverse cast of pilots and occasionally make questionable piloting decisions under pressure. It's the follow-up to the original Choppa, which somehow found its way onto over 4 million devices, and this time we've built it bigger, better, and with some story baked in. Choppa: Rescue Rivals is a chaotic arcade-style helicopter rescue competition game where you compete in extreme rescue matches against casual or competitive online opponents and locally with friends. • Ending MacOS support - 4 October 2019

  Hi pilots, sad news time. We have made the difficult decision of ending support for the macOS version of Choppa in light of recent notarization and 64-bit requirement changes Apple made to their platform. Since the sales of this game on Steam have never been that great, we're unable to provide high quality support for the tiny percentage of people purchasing the game on for Apple computers. So with a heavy heart we are halting sales of the macOS version, effective immediately. If you've purchased the game before for Mac, you should be able to re-download the game like always and use all Steam features, provided that you are not running the latest macOS version that requires a 64-bit, notarized binary. New purchases on Mac cannot be made anymore. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope you will continue enjoying playing Choppa on Windows. Thank you for playing!

• New choppas and full controller support update - 4 February 2019

  Surprise pilots! To celebrate another discount, here's a new update for you to enjoy. With it you will get two new choppas to unlock and a bunch of bug fixes. The new Vacuum and Winch choppas will ensure physics-based mayhem with their unique abilities, go check them out! We're also adding full controller support so you no longer will be forced to navigate the launcher with a mouse to enjoy some people rescuing action. Time to bring the salvation action to the big screen. We have been pretty busy here at Parta Games and will have some Choppa related news to share with you all very soon!   We released an update in commemoration of our homecountry Finland turning 100-years old on 2017-12-06! - Added a new AK-84 Chopper variation with glorious Finnish flag colors! - Tweaked Santa's Sleigh to make it easier to maneuver in tight spots and preventing it getting stuck - Added a volume slider to settings - Fixed problems that prevented "Look How Shiny it is!" and "Dancing in Dough" achievements from triggering - Other small fixes Thanks for playing and GET TO THE CHOPPA!
