  Believe it or not, but we are back with another patch for Hell is Other Demons! Aiming Ever since I started showing HiOD to the public, the main suggestion I got was the ability to aim. You asked for it, and eventually you got it! You can now toggle 360 degree aiming in the Gameplay Settings. For all you WASD + Mouse fans out there, there is also experimental in game mouse aiming that can be enabled under Settings > Controls The Archer Tailor made for this, another playable arcade mode character, The Archer, joins the ranks with his Time- and Space bending kit: - Press and Hold the Attack button to aim and slow time. Release to fire a piercing arrow. - Your ultimate is a slow moving Black Hole that sucks in everything in it's way. • Issue with save files resolved. Your data is safe! - 20 December 2019

  Hey, Some of you players are reporting that their old saves didn't carry over to the new patch. This has now been resolved in a new patch. Your data is safe! Just restart steam, check that you get the new patch and the data will be imported into the first free save slot. The version number can be found on the main menu screen, top right corner. It should say "2019-12-20 21:07". Thanks to everyone who reported this. Extra special thanks to ChronoQuote for reporting this issue with some data that helped us quicky solve the issue! • Lava Climb Mode, Cloud Saves, Character Specific Leaderboards! - 20 December 2019

  Here's a new update: - Lava Climb: New game mode! No shooting, just jump, dash and stomp to outrun the Rising Lava. Leaderboards enabled. - Separate Arcade Leaderboards per Character. - Save Slots: Good for speedruns as you no longer have to delete your whole save every time.   Hell is Other Demons has been out on Steam for a couple of days now and the critical response has been amazing! We are currently hard at work squashing bugs, improving the game and working on the next free content patch. On top of all the ideas I already have, the community has been coming up with awesome upgrades, characters, weapons and features. • Hell Is Other Demons double-jumps onto Steam - 20 May 2019

  Released last month on Kongregate’s new store Kartridge, Hell Is Other Demons makes the hop to Steam today. It’s a neat-looking platform shooter by Cuddle Monster Games, and a fast, twtichy (although not especially hardcore) arcade game about bouncing around arenas in hell, blatting waves of demons and spending your gathered hell-dollars on upgrades to do it all over again. Straightforward high-score-hunting stuff, although there is a campaign mode with bosses, plus a rather neat two-colour aesthetic and that modern arcade standby; a pulsing synthwave soundtrack.
