  Hey,1.0.6 is live. The big one is saves.Some of you hit an error when loading an older save. It read "Could not load the game. Perhaps the script changed in an incompatible way." and dumped you to a traceback. That was on us. Ren'Py tracks every line of the script by an internal name, and when we rebuilt the script for an earlier patch those names got regenerated instead of carried over. Your save was still pointing at the old ones, so the game could not find where you were.We put the old names back. Saves from before 1.0.4 load again. You should not have to do anything, just update and hit Load.If you already started over because of this, sorry. That one stings.Also in this patch:• Window size options in Settings. • Warped Reality plays on Steam Deck - 20 August 2026

  Warped Reality is built to play on Steam Deck. Visual novels already live well in handheld form — and we didn’t want this one to feel like a desktop port you have to fight with on the couch.What that means in practice:• Native Linux / SteamOS support (the preferred path for Deck) • Steam Input with Generic Gamepad as the default mapping • Menus, choices, and story play cleanly with the Deck controls • Minigames work without needing a keyboard in your lap • Save names use the Deck floating keyboard when you need it • Authored at 1280×720 — fits the Deck screen without weird stretchingOptional tip: map the right touchpad to mouse if you like poking at UI the old-fashioned way.If you’re already playing on Deck — cool. We’ve been living in this thing for a long time and it feels really good to say that out loud.What we need now is people to play it for real.We’ve stared at these scenes so many times that we’re half-blind to the weird little stuff — a line that doesn’t land, a bug we stopped noticing, a moment that makes perfect sense to us and nobody else.   NOBY released! Great new No One But You has been re-released on Steam due to some conflicts with our old publisher, so we decided to publish independently!
