On the opposite side is Aoi Kamishiro, a vampire hunter sent by the Holy See's secret anti-supernatural organization, the Rubina. And lurking in the shadows is Lycoris, an assassin dispatched by Iris, seemingly mocking Shuma's hopes for a normal life. Caught between these conflicting forces, Shuma struggles to live as a human, not as a vampire. However, the rising tide of darkness threatens everything, forcing him to wield the very powers he despises. In the end, Shuma must overcome his inner turmoil and embrace his supernatural heritage—if only to protect those he cares about from the evil closing in around him.
