Super Duper Multitasking Steam/Windows 2.998.1 has been released as of 10/15/2025.The following changes were made in this version:- I attempted to fix an issue with Keyboard Config and Dance Pad Config that was causing them not to work properly when using a Japanese keyboard layout. (Despite installing a Japanese version of Windows 11 on a test machine and attempting to recreate the issue, I was unable to, so I can't verify whether the fix actually works...but hopefully it does!)- Dance Pad Config will now allow you to assign buttons on the primary gameplay controller. In other words, you can now use the same controller for the Dance minigame that you use to play the other minigames. Super Multitasking Steam/Windows 2.997 has been released as of 2/13/2025. The following changes were made in this version: - When failing the "Dance" minigame, the "X" that shows where you made a mistake now appears over the arrow you missed, not merely in the center of the minigame. - Following further testing on Steam Deck, I determined that Proton 9 is required to run this game properly. If you attempt to use Proton versions earlier than 9, music will not play, including the music in the "Dance" minigame. Before this version, that meant you would always clear the minigame automatically, without having to do anything. This has now been fixed; from now on, if the game detects that the "Dance" minigame is ending without the music having played at all, it will automatically fail you. Super Duper Multitasking is Steam Deck Verified! And as the owner of a Deck myself, I can say that it plays great =) Here are just a few notes regarding Super Duper Multitasking's Steam Deck support: Proton 9 or higher is required. If you override this setting and attempt to use an earlier version, the music in the Dance minigame will not play. (The game will detect this and automatically fail you if you try to play this way. No cheating!) Certain users have reported the game launching with a "white rectangle" stuck on the screen for up to 30 seconds. The game finishes launching and runs normally after that. I am investigating the cause of this issue. The Steam Deck's triggers are digital, rather than analog, so the "Seesaw" minigame in the Upper/Top slots might be more difficult to play than it would be on a controller with analog triggers. The ability to multitask 3, 4, or 5 slots! Brand new Tutorial, Minigame Training, and Multitasking Training modes, to build your skills! The following change was made in this version: - Users running on 32-bit versions of Windows can once again post to Leaderboards. This is the next step in working around an issue in the framework Super Multitasking uses for Steamworks features. (The pop-up indicating your updated rank will not appear.) Unfortunately, the ability to browse the Leaderboards is still not fixed. For users running on 64-bit versions of Windows, full Leaderboard functionality was already restored as of version 2.0.1.
