• All Titles of DK Productions will be removed from the Steam Store. - 30 May 2025

  Hey all, My Journey of making commercially distributed Games was filled with ups and downs and it was an interesting Journey. Thank you to those who joined me along the Ride and gave constructive and useful feedback. I am announcing that I am retiring from commercial Game Development. This means that all my Games will be removed from steam. Owners of my Games can still download and play them if they want to but the Games will be delisted and archived into History.   Hey all, here are the patch notes for Release Patch #2 - fixed convoy not being able to be destroyed completely. - redid the lighting for level 8 - changed vegetation of level 8 - adjusted lighting for level 9 - fixed g36 magazine having 100 rounds - added a hint that player is taking damage from radiation Thanks for playing, stay tuned for more patches.

  Hey all, this is the first patch after the Launch: - Fixed Swamp Level missing vegetation - Fixed Swamp Level Bloom Setting being too high. - Updated the Title and Loading Images for 1080p Resolution - Added new Weapon: AN 94 with PSO 01 Scope and PBS Silencer - Fixed PSO 01 Scopes not zooming in enough. - Fixed missing Firing Sound for AKM SD - Fixed Video Cutscenes Blackscreen Issue Issues I coudlnt solve yet: Missing Tree in Level 3 (plants hanging down from the tree indicate that there is obviously something missing) Double Audio in beginning Cutscene. ------ I am working with a coder on an AI Overhaul, so stay tuned. • DARK SKIES VERSION 1 OFFICIALLY DONE - Story is complete / Massive 1.0 Update - 24 February 2023

  The Day has come. After 3,5 Years of work the game's Story is finally done. I want to thank everyone who joined me on this Journey. It has been a Development Phase of many challenges, many frustrating Moments but also good memories and amazing improvements. And the Knowledge I gained in that time is very valuable. Thanks for playing my game and I sincerly hope you like how the story turned out. I have changed many many files during this last development phase so if issues appear, please post them here. Of course I will continue to support this Game and release patches and fixes accordingly. I also want to add that the 1.0 Release is on my 30th Birthday today so this is a special day for me. • Happy New Year Everyone! - 31 December 2022

  It's my pleasure to release this new Update on New Year's Eve! It contains an additional side mission where you can raid an enemy base at night. Many new weapons have been added to the game and they can be found in that level. • Level 14 finished and added to the Game! Explore the "Underground Passage"! - 27 October 2022

  Hey all! I am happy to release the next content Update! Finally I can add Level 14 to the Story Level pool. The Work on the mission has been completed. You can access the new Level by approaching the Level Sign in the HUB level. Also a new weapon has been added to the Game: SKS Simonov & SKS Simonov Silenced & Scoped Variant

• Additional Sound Improvements + New Weapon: AKM with PSO 1 Scope and Silencer - 15 October 2022

  Also added some stuff for a future update for testing. Hope you like the new weapon :)

• Sound Fixes and Improvements - 13 October 2022

  The last few small patches have been dedicated to the sounds in Dark Skies. Sounds when hurting the player now have more "punch" to them. Also I changed some sounds for guns like the MP5 and its special Variant.

• Nemansk Industrial Area Map RELEASED - Autumn Update - 9 October 2022

  Hey all! I am very happy to finally anounce the release of this Update. It contains a new Map called "Nemansk Industrial Area" Just like last years Halloween Update, this is a map that's not connected to the Game's Base story. It's more like a playground to test your weapons and fight an area swarmed with enemies. Please note that some issues may still remain on various systems - I cant test everything on my own. Combat has been revamped - Soldiers should be more responsive again. The Map can be accessed right in the HUB level - A new Sign has been added. Expect to see more content and fixes along the way as the testing reports come in. Hope you enjoy this Update and make sure to scavenge the Industrial Area properly, you might find some nice new toys ;) Thanks everyone for playing the Game and stay tuned for more updates.   The New weapon is hidden in the HUB Level.

• LUT Update has issues - partially reverting back to previous builds - 11 September 2022

  There was a problem with the updated build so I had to revert some of the changes for now. I hope I can finish the work during next week. Stay tuned.

• Lookup Tables Update PART 1 - 10 September 2022

  Hey all! Today I release a rather Big Update that adds new color grading methods to the game, making the levels more cinematic. I will go over every level in the game and apply the new color filters step for step. This is the first half of the update, the other half will be done hopefully sooner than later.

• Small Patch: Weapon Model Changed - 9 September 2022

  I updated the Dragunov Model and animations in this patch. It now looks and feels much better.
