Happy Thursday Fruity Fans Last week we prepared you with knowledge on how to shoot the fruit so it’s about time we show you what abnormally large fruit you’ll be faced with. With over 14 genetically mutated varieties of fruit have, they've all developed differently in their self-destructive sentient ways. As with most jobs these days, all employees need the ability to adapt to changing working environments - whether that's a wild army of raspberries or the manic buzz of mangoes - learn how to balance your workload and better turn your foes to pulp. Here's the fruit we managed to capture on CCTV so far: The Juicy Watermelon Will slowly charge at you and explode upon impact. The enormity and firmness of this melon means it’ll take a fair beating. In the first of a series of posts about the game’s key features ahead of launch on the 19th December, we thought we’d go into a bit of detail on what you can expect to do between all the shooting, scanning and serving. VR splatfest Shooty Fruity is coming to PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on 19th December. Shooty Fruity challenges players to complete day-to-day supermarket shifts, while fending off mutant fruit with a large arsenal of weapons including grenades, C4 launchers, shotguns and revolvers. Players can purchase new weapons in the staff room, as well as customise and test their load out. Some of the jobs players undertake include serving in the canteen and scanning items at the checkout - but the imminent fruit attack makes things a little more complicated. Read more…
