- Improved support for ultrawide displays! - 20 July 2018
A new update for Sky Force Reloaded is available. Support for 21:9 screen was improved quite a bit. All the UI, Main Menu and Stage selector now cover the whole screen. The gameplay area stays at it's previous dimensions, but the black bars have been replaced with slightly zoomed-in view of the main screen. The sides are darkened and show a bit retro, pixelated image. It's a similar approach many shmups take while being ported from arcades to widescreen. TECHNICAL NOTE: It's possible that after the update, your game will launch with incorrect resolution. Set the correct one in the options and then RESTART the game (exit and launch it again). Without it you may experience some graphical glitches on the sides of the screen. Best regards, Infinite Dreams.

Today we're releasing the infamous B3 Stage for all of you to enjoy, or to cry over... This new stage sports a healthy amount of new weapons and enemies, followed by a formidable boss that will sneak upon you at least twice! Sadly, it is also the last stage we've had in plans for Sky Force Reloaded. We're quite happy it finally made it into the game, as the stage itself was "almost ready" since before we've even started the development of the Steam version (!). Besides adding the new stage we've also inlcuded some translation corrections and changed the handling of inputs on some flight controllers (please report any strange new behaviour, if you encounter any). Without further ado, get your planes up and rock that B3!

- Amiga-esque shmup Sky Force Reloaded is out now - 3 December 2017
As a shmup aficionado, The Sky Force games have always sat on the periphery of my awareness. Despite Polish developers Infinite Dreams ‘ origins working on Amiga games, their platform of choice for their flagship shmup series was the iPhone of all things. It seemed foolish, and I initially dismissed the original game as being entirely unsuited to the platform. I was wrong. Against all odds, the genre flourished. Even Japanese bullet-hell monsters Cave began porting their arcade classics to phones and tablets, and the Sky Force series became one of the better-known mobile shooter franchises. Now, Infinite Dreams have come on home to PC with Sky Force Reloaded, and might just have a thing or two to teach us about accessibility in the genre. (more…)

We're hoping all your patience will be handsomely rewarded in just a few more weeks, when the game gets released to the public!
