- WW3 Tech files: MARPAT - MARine PATtern - 28 October 2025
Greetings, Operators!In today's article, we'll take a look at one of the most iconic and recognizable (if you recognize pixels) camouflage patterns—MARPAT (MARine PATtern). Why and what for is the new camouflage?To understand the wider context of the creation of this camouflage, we need to go back in time a little. Specifically, to the 1980s, when the M81 Woodland camouflage was introduced to all US Army units. This pattern proved to be a very successful successor to ERDL. From a purely structural point of view, this move made a lot of sense. Instead of producing different types of camouflage for each unit, or very similar ones, the decision was made to unify them, which allowed for cutting production costs and developing several similar solutions. The distinguishing features remained elements of the formation, such as emblems, ranks, and unique elements of the uniform (the eight-pointe…
- WW3 Tech files: Anders | Snake & Mout blueprints on sale - 15 October 2025
Anders Multi-Role Combat Platform (Wielozadaniowa Platforma Bojowa, WPB), the platform was named after General Władysław Albert Anders, a famous commander of the Polish forces in the Second World War, who fought bravely only to be persecuted by the communist regime after the end of the war, much like another Polish hero, General Maczek.The initial idea was to transform the Polish armed forces to a highly-mobile force organized into Mechanized Brigades, equipped with either light wheeled vehicles (the Rosomak platform) or with tracked vehicles (the Anders platform). The Puma family of upgraded BMPs was also considered for the role, but the program was canceled earlier on.The platform was developed by OBRUM Gliwice with the first variant introduced being a Light Tank or a Fire Support Vehicle. The designation of the vehicle was a source of some controversy – the platform was heavily const…
- WW3 Highlight: Rose edition - 6 October 2025
Operators, today we would like to familiarize you with two weapons that are currently available in our in-game store and are part of the Rose edition. These are the MSBS-K assault rifle and the RPG-7. MSBS-K GROTLet's start with the standard explanation of the name and history of this rifle. MSBS (Modułowy System Broni Strzeleckiej) translates as: Modular Small Arms System. GROT is the official name adopted in honor of General Stefan Rowecki, while grot itself means arrowhead.This weapon system is not just an assault rifle, but, as the name suggests, a whole family of guns. The design began its life as part of the once-fashionable giant “soldiers of the future” programs. In Poland, this program was given the name Tytan (Titan).The aim of this part of the program was to develop a family of arms (as modular and versatile as possible) to replace the aging Beryls, AKMs, and obsolete carbine…
- WW3 Tech files: ZTZ99 (Type 99) - 25 September 2025
Let us begin this article by unravelling the mystery surrounding the name of this vehicle and the general nomenclature of tanks in China. Due to general military secrecy and the lack of available official sources, Chinese vehicles are referred to in the West as Type and year. In this case, we have Type 99. This is the name given to this vehicle by western military enthusiasts. However, there is a second name that you may associate from World War 3 - ZTZ 99. ZTZ is a simplified Chinese name converted into an alphabet understandable to Westerners. When expanded, it is Zhuangjia Tanke Zhongxing, which when translated into English means Armoured, Tank, Medium. The more observant players may notice that this tank is not an MBT but a medium tank. This is directly related to Chinese nomenclature, where light and medium tanks still exist, but something like Main Battle Tank doesn't. However, it…

- WW3 Boot Camp || Strikes Overview - 12 September 2025
This week, in our Boot Camp series, we will give you a look at the strike system in WW3, and various strike types. These are currently available only in the TAC mode, as the smaller modes do not support them. Strike System The strike system allows you to use special equipment for a cost of “Strike Points” that you earn in-game. Every action you perform gives you these points, with objective play being the most rewarding. You have 3 slots for strikes in each loadout, and each of them contain different categories of strikes. Let’s look at each of these now. The First SlotThe first slot can be considered a utility slot. Here, you can carry a UAV or a Jammer. UAVs let you know where the enemies are, and award you a bonus for teammates who get a kill with your support. Jammers can protect you from being marked by a UAV, scramble enemy drone controls, prevent the enemy team from spawning on t…

This week, in our Boot Camp series, we will give you guidance on how to counter aerial drones. This will cover all types of drones, from combat-focused helicopter drones to jammers and UAVs.Your Options To combat aerial drones, you are given a few tools. The most reliable and universal one, the PPZR Piorun anti-air launcher, the Warmate drone, UCAS-D global jammer, and vehicles both dedicated to anti-air, and those that are not quite. And let’s not forget, your weapons can do damage too. Let’s take a look at all of these in closer detail.Piorun AA LauncherThe Piorun AA launcher can lock onto enemy drones from a distance. - WW3 Boot Camp | Anti-Tank Gameplay - 4 July 2025
This week, in our Boot Camp series, we will offer tips on defeating armored vehicles. In World War 3, there are many ways to destroy vehicles. You can choose from gadgets, weapons, or strikes. We'll cover all of these, as well as potential counters that vehicles may have, so you can choose the best approach. There are other ways you can help your team besides dealing damage. You can also use firearms to destroy vehicle optics and take out their Remote Control Weapons, or Active Protection Systems to distract the vehicle. You can mark a tank by tapping X once, or mark its general location by tapping X twice. This lets your team know where to look for it. Gadgets are a cheap way to deal with vehicles. They do not increase the weight of the loadout or cost score. They are convenient tools for when you find yourself near a vehicle. The anti-tank mine can be placed as a trap, the anti-tank g…
- WW3 Boot Camp || Vehicle Gameplay - 27 June 2025
This week, in our Boot Camp series, we will give you guidance on how to play with vehicles, and everything about them. CustomizingFirst, let’s take a look at how to customize your vehicles. In WW3, you can customize your vehicle with hull armor, different turrets or turret armor, a Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS), an Active Protection System (APS), and thermal optics. However, you can only equip 3 of these at once, so make sure to choose a combination that works together. On top of these choices, you can change the type of ammunition your tank and RCWS use, and also change the camouflage of your vehicle. There are many threats to vehicles in WW3. To name a few, there are rocket launchers, C4, anti-tank mines, various drone types, bombing runs, artillery, missiles, other vehicles, anti-tank grenades, and so on. However, don’t be overwhelmed. While there are so many different ways…
- Meet the Crusader operator! - 26 June 2025
Operators! Today we want to introduce you to an operator available in World War 3 hiding under the pseudonym Crusader! You can purchase the Operator directly in our Launcher shop. It is fair to say that Crusader has chosen its equipment in keeping with the British spirit of conducting special operations in a desert environment. Which, to the wider public, is known from the Second World War and the adventurous raids by SAS members in North Africa using their heavily armed Willis Jeeps. On the head is a standard Mk.6 NATO helmet, underneath which the face has been covered with “camouflage” in the form of the cross familiar from the flag of England. This is a double reference, both to the crusaders roaming the holy land during the crusades, and to the cultivation of the special units' tradition of even skin camouflage (here, however, in a rather ridiculous way). This is also emphasised by…

- WW3 Boot Camp || Operator Customization - 20 June 2025
This week, in our Boot Camp series, we will explore everything related to operator customization. We will explain how it works and how to unlock it. CustomizationNow, let's take a look at how to customize your operator. The process is simple, but we'll walk you through it. Remember, when customizing your operator, the hitbox remains the same. Thinner operators have no advantages in this regard, and bigger clothing does not slow you down. The helmet shape and size does not matter, the helmet hitbox covers your entire head. As long as you have headgear equipped, your loadout’s armor will protect you. So with this in mind, be free and go wild! Customizable ItemsIn WW3, you customize several aspects of your operators. - WW3 Boot Camp || Loadouts - 12 June 2025
In this week’s Boot Camp series, we will be exploring all to do with loadouts. Loadout ItemsIn WW3. you carry several items with you into the battle. 2 WeaponsArmor plate and helmetA gadget or grenadeA supply packExtra attachments and a gadget in the backpack. Loadout WeightThe loadouts you carry are limited by weight. This means that the heavier your gun or armor, the less space you have for other items. In addition, there are 3 weight brackets in the game, light, medium, and heavy. Each weight bracket comes with a set of speed buffs or nerfs. It also determines your HP regeneration. Your HP regenerates in segments, so if a segment is not fully depleted, it will regenerate until it is full. The heavier your loadout, the larger the segments. These weights are broken down as follows:Light 10% faster animations and movement speed.Longer “tac sprint” duration.50/50 HP bar split. MediumNeut…
