  • Summer 2021 Update - 7 August 2021

Our users have been providing great feedback and we have been hard at work incorporating it. We are also happy to announce that we will be working with the very talented minds at Mystik Sound to create an amazing soundtrack for the game. There is now a narrative layer with Exo now communicating with Mission Control through the portal via radio contact. We have created a new player model for the research android. The helper drone has seen a rewrite, with it mapping the world on its own initiative. The player can still control it but left to its own initiative, it will map all of the items necessary to complete the level. Scientific surveys have also been added that players can complete, with the player learning more about the alien worlds it visits. There have been several UI enhancements, a DNA gathering challenge, and multiple bug fixes. Exo Android and Mission Control narration New Pl…

  • New UI and Better Controls - 28 June 2021

We have been busy incorporating feedback and have a new music partnership in the works with an amazingly talented DJ/Electronic artist. New updates include New UI Screens PS4 and XBOX controller setups The ability to invert the y-axis on controllers The ability to save and load levels The ability to change graphics settings while in-game The puzzle mechanic should be clearer and plans include adding a narrative layer to better orient players. If you play the demo, please consider filling out our survey! Our hope is to have the community help us craft this game into something special. We are keeping things a little bit mysterious, but there are challenges and a puzzle that needs to be solved to open the Stargate. You will still need a mouse and keyboard to get things set up and the game is more enjoyable if you have a controller around. Exo Demo Survey

  • Load / Save - Invert y azis - Controlls screen - Relic tagger bug fix - 27 June 2021

We have added the ability to save and load. If you quit the game now, you will pick up where you left off. If you want to reset the level, just load it again in the control panel. This game has partial controller support. You will need a mouse and keyboard to set things up, but all gameplay can be controlled with an XBOX or PS controller. We added the ability to invert the y axis on the controller and fixed a few bugs.

  • The Exo demo is now available - 20 June 2021

The Exo demo is now available and we have been working to incorporate early feedback. Thanks to all who have been playing. The overall response has been fantastic. A few things rose to the surface right away and we have updated the game with two patches to try and address. The drone has been rewritten to better help the Exo android find new life and landmarks. The puzzle mechanics are clearer and this should help players open the stargate. We added partial controller support, but this is still a work in progress. We are gathering feedback on controls and want to make sure that everybody has a chance to share their experiences. Right now the PC is set up for an XBOX controller and Macs for Playstation controllers. Xbox controller has the Y-Axis inverted, but the PS4 controller does not. Keep this in mind when playing the game. A Mouse and keyboard work well and is set up as a standard WA…
