• Revamping of content - 11 December 2019

  Hi everyone! Today we started our plan to revamp the Salsa-Virtual experience. We will mostly concentrate on content and better instruction, but we will also create easy to follow warm-ups so that you can get into dancing immediately instead of waiting until the end on a lesson plan. We modified our workflow to record more reliable audio for our speech. It is incredibly difficult to do! The main challenge was to keep track of the music / rhythm / beats per minute, for two people, without actually playing it lest it be recorded as background noise instead of a separate track. A combination of bluetooth headsets, voice recorders, android devices, battery packs and some tape did the job. Also, let us know if you're interested in an Oculus Quest release! The platform's performance constraints are a bit limiting, but we could eliminate some bells and whistles to make it fit without degrading…

• It's Here - 9 November 2018

  Almost 2 years ago to the date we started going hard on developing Salsa-Virtual. There was much excitement as we pressed the "Release Now" button. Even more when STEAM said, "review and are you sure you want to publish?" And climaxed when we then had to type the text "Release my app." Enjoy, Everyone! • Mirror Fix - 31 October 2018

  A recent update to Oculus is not playing nice with our VR mirrors, so we're fixing that and postponing launch by a week to make sure everything works well. Early access launch is so close and we're super excited!
