• Blockshock is now on Mac and Linux! - 9 September 2026

  More ways to return to the ruins The rebuilt Blockshock is now available natively on Windows, macOS and Linux. If you already own the game on Steam, these versions are included at no extra cost. What's new in this platform update Native macOS support for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. An Apple-notarized Mac release, with macOS 12 Monterey or later required. • Blockshock returns: rebuilt from the ground up - 9 September 2026

  Blockshock is back, rebuilt from the ground up. I released the original when I was first learning to code. Coming back to it meant doing more than giving the menus a polish: the game has been rewritten around the simple pleasure of a paddle, a ball and a screen full of blocks waiting to fall. This is a free update for everyone who already owns Blockshock. It arrives in the same Steam library entry; there is no new game or DLC to buy.   Hi Everyone, There's a short term simple fix for the level not finishing/loading bug if you encounter it, Restart the game, once restarted it should work, sometimes the first boot of the game doesn't work. We are looking into consistently replicating the bug and fixing it, Thank you, Vox Studios

We think a few builds have got muddled up during the upload process and we have uploaded the bugged unfinished version.
