  • Game is Being Retired - 28 February 2025

So, This game was a failed project I tried to make in highschool, and sadly it is one of the many hundreds of abandoned indie games. I do not wish people waste their money and time on it, and who knows, maybe in the future I make a 'sequel' and finish it before releasing it. I've decided to retire this game, meaning it'll be unable to purchase, if you've already purchased it you'll still have it forever don't worry. Thank you all for everything, I'll see you all if I finish a game and wish to put it here.

  • Twenty Ninth Monthly Update - 12 August 2020

So I didn't post an update last month, but here's why: I lost confidence in this project, the art just didn't feel good enough. When I made the original game for friends, they knew my limits. But I've put this project to the world and have to make it look good. I made a few chances, both to the game and my thinking. I'm making a new build more or less to make this project better, let me explain the builds: Build 1: The original text based python project Build 2: The first image based python project Build 3: The public (unfortunately) C# project Build 4: The beta redesign and reprogram of Build 3. Build 4.5: The redesign of Build 4. So this Build 4.5 features new, much smaller and precise art, this should make the game look better with much less stretching because of the arbitrary ratios I chose for the sprites. And less of me worrying about how it looks because I enjoy making smaller sp…

  • Twenty Eigth Montly Update (0.5.0b) - 13 June 2020

I broke and fixed the game. Nothing else

  • Twetny Seventh Monthly Update (0.5.0b) - 13 May 2020

I've been working on a scene editor to easily make scenes. And hoping to change the scenes from being hard-coded to being loadable files, this will make the executable smaller obviously, and make modding easier

  • Twenty Sixth Monthly Update - 12 April 2020

I have decided to test a new art style that would be easier to create, maintain, and reuse.

  • Twenty Fifth Monthly Update (0.4.9b) - 12 March 2020

The wedding scene has been added and is in a working state (will look better as game progresses), This leads to the mall and back to the homeless scenes.

  • Twenty Fourth Montly Update (0.4.8b) - 13 February 2020

It's been two years since I first published the game on Steam Early Access. Unfortunately I'm not proud of the progress I've made on build 4... if I had the same motivation I had with build 3, build 4 would probably be out of early access by now... Self Depreciation Aside I still think the game is going well, just could be so much farther. Endings 5 and 7 have been added to build 4, one or both of them show potential to be pulled from endings to full branches

  • Twenty Third Monthly Update (0.4.0b) - 12 January 2020

Currently working on the zombie apocalypse branch with several narrator angering options

  • Twenty Third Monthly Update (0.4.0b) - 12 December 2019

More ocean scenes and the moon has been added

  • Twenty Second Monthly Update (0.3.1b) - 13 November 2019

  • Twenty First Monthly Update (0.2.1b) - 12 October 2019

Finished the majority of Egypt up to where build 3 ended and continuing working on the smaller branches And again if you cannot install either version of the game please tell me

  • Twentieth Monthly Update (0.1.8b) - 12 September 2019

Further optimization for tinting and image rendering if anyone cannot install either versions of the game please tell me, Certain people install it fine but others cannot

  • Nineteenth Monthly Update (0.1.6b) - 12 August 2019

This update for build 4 is mainly improving image handling. Optimized unused images to use less ram Images can now be tinted twice

  • Eighteenth Monthly Update! (0.1.4b) - 12 July 2019

Skin rendering has been changed from individual sprites to one base sprite that's properly tinted to the needed shades and colors. Currently working on keeping the file size as small as possible with using gif pallets. Testing is still going underway but can possibly remove a tenth of the size Thanks for following the Development of choices!

  • Seventeenth Monthly Update! (0.1.3b) - 12 June 2019

This update brings the majority of Terra's scenes into build 4. Although the endings and certain choices around her will need to be redesigned, it should not be much of a problem

  • Sixteenth Monthly Update! (0.1.0b) - 12 May 2019

This update is small but provides a useful tool I can use for future updates I am finally able to optimize the game's resources, giving my small game even shorter download times.

  • Fifteenth Monthly Update! (0.1.0b) - 13 April 2019

This update is not as eventful as the previous update, only one scene added. fullscreen shortcut is no longer ESC but now F11 Both the default build and the beta do not install on windows computers, I have contacted support in hopes that we can fix this issue THE INSTALLING ISSUE IS FIXED!!! THANK YOU GENiEBEN AND STEAM SUPPORT!

  • Fourteenth Mounthly Update! (0.0.9b) - 12 March 2019

This update for build 4 adds in several new features + Settings now save + One new ending + One new bottom and two new tops in the designer ~ Hidden text mode is now default ~ Hitting backspace will return to main menu I have a feeling that these text posts don't properly display the differences between build 3 and build 4 so see attached images for the massive difference Build 3: https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F31804131%2Fb96132ccff55dd9be3128adbb34f69f1962c2ee3.png Build 4: https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F31804131%2Fffe8c83f93b9f768f3bf789e89f03c5032be32e9.png

  • Thirteenth Monthly Update! (0.0.8b) - 12 February 2019

This month has been a really busy month, tweaking the scene loading functions, fixing save function issues. But most importantly, added steam achievements! GENiEBEN has helped me immensely with getting achievements up and running, unfortunately I have not had much testing in 32 bit systems, so if you run one and crash when loading the designer please contact me so I know if it doesn't work! Thank you for all of your help with growing Choices!
