  I've been very busy working on MASKED, there have been considerable changes in terms of look, and also scope. But I do believe it is worth it. Instead of being a top-down game, the game will be third person. The reason for this change is because it allows me to create more vertical environments, and allow me to create more cool & challenging designs. An example of this is being able to jump on platforms, attacking down towards enemies. Stomping on enemies. Those kinds of things. But also ladders, moving platforms.. Lava? Another reason is, top-down games are just a lot more restricting, you face issues like, how do I ensure the player sees a door when it is located under the camera? This would force a similar type of design as some earlier Zelda games, or the last top-down game that was released for the switch.
