• Renaming to "GentRacing" - 16 April 2022

  Hello Community, as you know, we have applied for a patent for the trademark “GeneRacing” as a word-picture trademark and are its owner with seniority priority, which means that we as the senior patent owner do not (can) infringe any rights. Nevertheless, we want to avoid confusion as far as possible and do everything to ensure that there is no overlap here. Therefore, we have decided to distance ourselves even more clearly from supposed similarities – as we have always communicated and realised in a documented way. For this reason GeneRacing will be renamed GentRacing. GentRacing is therefore also not available in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Lithuania since 2021. The new name “GentRacing” is an abbreviation for GentlemanRacing, as some players have already correctly guessed.   Dear players, Dear Community, After a few months of waiting, which most of course noticed, today we can publish official news, good news. In the last few months, from March until today, we have dealt with important legal issues. Primarily trademark law, patent protection, intellectual property and trademark issues were examined extensively over several weeks by our lawyer, specialist in national and international trademark law. So that neither we, nor the competition, and least of all the community, have to suffer from injuries in the long term (due to any country restrictions or other), we have taken a considerable amount (which even exceeds the current development costs) into hand for all trademark law issues nationally and to be checked throughout Europe.
