Hi everyone, we are excited to officially announce The Commission 1920 will be featured in the next Steam Game Festival. We will be providing a demo that will give you an early look before the release of what to expect in the upcoming game! And the best part...it will be free! Demo Details The demo consists of a small part of the game to give you a good idea of what the full game is like. You’ll play as the Calessi family vs the Bogiana family in a 1v1 campaign. The map consists of Dreyer Square borough and 8 neighborhoods. The campaign will last for 100 turns, after which, you will see if you achieved a higher Commission ranking than your opponent! Something to keep in mind, you will not be able to save or load campaigns in the demo and won’t be able to unlock journal entries. Hi everyone! We have been working hard on bringing you The Commission 1920 and are finally ready to share the game in alpha. We will be opening up an Alpha Playtest event starting July 24th! With alpha testing, we want to make sure we have the time to get everyone’s feedback and get the appropriate time needed to update things. With this update, Loyalty now operates on a tier system, and the factors that cause it to shift are more obvious. RACKET REBALANCING Some substantial changes were made to help balance gameplay, and were done with the following goals in mind: Increase the cost range of rackets, to improve sense of progression. Rackets such as Mugging and Gambling Den are more clearly defined as "starter" rackets. Reign in some rackets that were outliers as far as profitability. An example was Robbery, which generated profit even in extremely ill-suited locations. Normalize racket investment cost to around 10%-20% of the base cost. Loan Sharking and Insurance Fraud are notable exception…
