Yep, Seek Or Die V.2.0 is RELEASED! Hey everyone! I know I usually don't meet my deadlines, but hey, there's a first time for everything. Seek Or Die V.2.0 is a major update to the game. It addresses many bugs and problems V.1.3 had. If you want to play V.1.3 again (for some reason) I kept an open branch that can be accessed through the "Betas" tab of the Properties menu for my game. Seek Or Die V.2.0 Includes: - A REAL monster - A story-line - Multiple endings - Multiple objectives - Additive distractions that make Part I more difficult - Little bits and bobs to make the game run smoother - A donate button (my favorite feature) Thank you all for supporting me as I develop this game. - Vote Now! Should I Change the Map? - 14 June 2018
This is VERY important, so please take some time to read. So someone commented under my update post that I should consider changing the map of the house because it is a demo package and not hand-created. I do recognize that this seems lazy, HOWEVER: it is in no way wrong/illegal. The mansion layout was part of a bigger package and I am free to use it as I see fit. Still, it matters what you guys think more than what I think. If you believe I should create my own map, I will gladly do so. This DOES mean that the update will need to be pushed another month. Hey guys, so the update is ALMOST finished! I don't want it to be released just yet however. Contact ANY AND ALL you-tubers and tell them to contact me at "[email protected]" in order to generate publicity for the update. They will get a beta copy for the game as well as a spot in the credits (not much but its what I can do). Leave a comment if you do it with a link to their channel. One big regret about my initial lunch of "Seek Or Die" was that I did not publicize my game enough. I want to change that. However, I cannot do it alone. A new, updated version of "Seek Or Die" might be out as soon as the 27th of May. This update will bring a story, two endings, multiple objectives, and a real monster. Depending on if I have time or not, it may also include achievements and Russian language support. This new version may be paid, but people who already have the game will receive the update for free. I was originally going to publish anyway because I believed that few would notice the similarities, but when I realized the attention this game was garnering, I couldn't lie back. I am working with the steam user "Rob Boss" to create new artwork custom-tailored to my game. He is also helping me with beta testing. (I couldn't have progressed without him). This will take a while, but the finished product will be a polished game, not a rushed B-Class game. First impressions matter so I want to do a perfect release of my game.
