We were able to successfully integrate a new input system so all 8 players should be able to play now on Windows 10/11. Get those blobs back in the fight!
- Hotfix Notes - 1.1.7 - 21 July 2023
A bug was identified preventing players from playing the game at all, being unable to join the customization screen. We have applied a temporary fix to input so up to 4 players can now play. This happened because behind the scenes Microsoft updated their controller drivers and it broke the older system we were using. We are working towards a fix for the total of 8 players, but at least this way smaller groups can play the game at this time.

- Mob Blobs have arrived! - 17 October 2019
Mob Blobs is the first PvE mode in the game, and we're super excited to battle the mobs along side you! It breaks down like so: Play lone wolf, or with up to 7 other friends locally Cooperatively defend your zone from the attacking mobs, if they reach the zone it will take damage. If your zones are destroyed, you lose. Periodically the zones will shuffle around, so stay on your toes to keep them safe. Play on one of the two new maps Magma and Grid, with a third on the way! There are three kinds of mob, the small ones that likely target you and attack, the medium ones that move toward the zone but can be agro'd if attacked, and the big boys that slowly march toward your zone only. All of them will require your entire attacking toolkit to take down. With the end of the winter season, the limited time winter maps have thawed, but one of the warmer maps has had a complete retexture! - Skate Update Live! - 1.1.1 - 8 November 2018
We've added some really cool new features to Blobs with this update, and of course the titular Skate upgrade! Skate has received an entire revamp, from the ground up. The first of many more updates to come brings a bunch of small fixes and improvements to the UI, maps, and gameplay. - Who's ready to fight! - 21 June 2018
We're proud to announce that The Blobs Fight goes live tonight at 8:00 PM (ET)! The game took us almost a year to develop, and we learnt a great deal in the process. As indies, we're able to make the game we want to experience, and because of this we hope you'll love it too! Everyone at SkyPyre is a huge fan of local multiplayer games, the kind that bring us back to our childhoods, with all the victories and defeats that entails. Our goal was to make a fun, engaging, and hilarious beat-em-up that anyone could enjoy with friends, and with 8 players supported, hopefully no one gets left out.
