  • Releasing Soon... - 13 September 2026

After taking some time off I have decided to start up production again on Dragon's Eye. I have been working hard over the last week updating the player controls, graphics, fixing bugs, and the final dragon boss encounter. The final showdown will take place in the castle and it will test all the skills you learned in the 3 temples and in the open world.

  • Jump/Roll Controls are easier + Random Skeleton Attacks! - 12 April 2021

Lots of players complained about how difficult the roll+jump mechanic was to execute, so I made it easier. Also there will now be random skeleton attacks!

Player Combat Overhaul Faster with new animations and the player will no longer collide with enemies. Minimap and world map updates Both maps now show names of areas and important locations. Player is now tracked on the world map. Visual enhancements Changed a ton of things but the overall image quality is much more crisp. Lots of new and updates textures. Changes to many of the environments making them feel more organic. Treasure Chamber Update Instead of being a huge open area, it is now filled with rooms and tons of platforming. • Game Update #3 - 10 September 2020

Big update to the combat and player controls. Hits will now push back the player and enemies. Player controls should feel much better now and the animations blend very smoothly. Gamepad and keyboard control are fully implemented for player and all the game interface. Player now has variable height jump which will make platform more precise. Tons of other bugs fixes.

  • Game Update #2 - 5 September 2020

I got a lot of feedback that revolved around the jumping and platforming in the game. Since there is quite a bit, I added a variable jump height which makes it feel much better and accurate. Here is a list of smaller updates: Added effects that show tiles in the boss battles are about to turn on and damage the knight. Fixed - Doors could be opened with less spirit orbs than it stated. When the goblin steals your sword and shield, a popup states that this has happened now. More fire camps to save your progress in the harder sections. Bosses now have their health bar at the top of the screen instead of over their head like a regular enemy. New look for the tree leaves. Post processing enhancements that give the game more polished look. Toned down the overall saturation of the game. Increased poly count on several models that looked too low poly. Lots of smaller bug fixes.

  • Gamepad Support Added - 30 August 2020

You can now play Dragon's Eye with a gamepad. It is full controller support which means you can control the player and the interface. Button icons also change dynamically too! Combat got a small upgrade as well. The player and enemies will now be pushed back when hit. Visual upgrade with post effects.
