- 1.90.9 - Heated Exchange - 7 August 2026
Mineral Markets ShiftMineral exchanges across Enceladus Prime are reporting unusual volatility as independent excavation crews begin to leave a measurable mark on local supply. Such large deliveries noticeably influence mineral prices, prompting renewed interest from speculative traders hoping to profit from shortages they helped create. Exchange analysts caution that the market remains influenced by enough competing industrial activity to make such schemes unreliable, with aggressive attempts at price manipulation just as capable of leaving a captain with a hold full of depreciating ore. Eon Revises Model E LimitsEon Interstellar has issued another revision of the Model E operating specifications following reports from pilots testing the limits of its StarCAT stellarator and its signature Curie-point radiator. Company engineers confirmed that the iron-droplet cooling system performance…

- 1.89.0 - Salvaged Risk - 25 February 2026
Obonto releases new long-resolution radarA new long-range microwave radar from Obonto Microengineering, released earlier this week, is already reshaping salvage operations. Its high resolution, strong ice penetration, and Doppler capability let crews spend less time second-guessing marginal contacts, while the narrow scan cone greatly improves angular resolution at distance. That same narrow focus has drawn criticism for poor wide-area awareness. Although the LRPR was designed for ring prospecting, it has quickly found a place in salvage work, where confidently spotting disabled ships in ring thicket often matters more than a broad view.Rushed Triskelion-Armstrong firmwareFollowing the unexpectedly rapid adoption of Obonto’s new LRPR in salvage operations, Triskellion-Armstrong has rushed out a feature-packed firmware update for its AR-1500M manipulators. In what many crews describe as…
- 1.82.10 - Simulated Hazard - 3 November 2025
Gimbal safety protocols for gimballed drives attempted to move torches that were detected to point towards hulls to angle zero, rather than the rest angle of the torch. For most ships this was the same, but for EIME that caused the torch to move away from pointing straight back before igniting, which for Z-Axial Pinch torch caused significant response delay.Fixed a bug introduced in 1.82.6 which caused the game to crash if you liberated containers from a derelict AT-K225 while there was a lot of ore around.Fixed game crash when you managed to explode your ship in the Minding Virtual Flight Service simulator and waited dozens of seconds after the explosion with the simulation still running.Blowing up a pirate that has set up a trap before triggering that trap will not cause the game to crash anymore. You will be able to dock to Obonto 7 again. Even without power, their docking arms will h…
- 1.82.5 - Grey Market - 17 October 2025
Aftermarket MAD HUD unlocks spread across older shipsThe recent MAD thruster retrofit kits exposed enough of the proprietary API for third parties to build adapters capable of connecting hardware that previously required a full cockpit refit. Independent yards on Enceladus are now shipping more aftermarket Machines Astro-Dynamiques kits, and some early adopters already report clean installs with MAD Cernunnos II overlays. Machines Astro-Dynamiques legal counsel repeats that unauthorised modifications void warranty and service contracts, but with ring operations under no clear jurisdiction, enforcement is limited.R-Sport ring-rage spike under reviewStation logs show a spike of ramming and charging incidents during R-Sport heats this week, and organisers are reviewing footage and telemetry with Vilcy observers to separate intent from racing incident. Several teams, including two Obonto sp…
- 1.80.2 - Rabid Propulsion - 16 September 2025
MAD releases retrofit kitsMachines Astro-Dynamiques has released retrofit kits for the Cheval 5.0 torch and Luciole 1.2 RCS, renowned propulsion systems of the Cernunnos II series heavy recovery tugs. As dedicated recovery hardware, these engines feature not only impressive thrust and remass economy, but also dedicated active safety protocols, which use built-in radar to cut the thrust if a hull is detected within the exhaust area. The company stressed these retrofits are built for heavy recovery craft, where high thrust can be crucial. Excavation crews are urged to be cautious: the Cheval’s power, even with safeguards, may be excessive for delicate mining operations.Mandatory medical screening for rescue opsScrapwright Recovery Operations has mandated ADHD screening for all directly employed pilots after repeated mishaps during recovery runs. In several cases, crews became distracted ev…
- Asteroid Opera DLC Coming Soon - 3 September 2025
ΔV has always been about hard science, accurate physics, and the brutal beauty of Saturn’s rings. But maybe that’s not what you came here for. Maybe you just want to blast rocks, dodge lasers, and feel like a hero in a space opera where fun matters more than Newton. After all, games are supposed to be fun, not science homework. If you ever dreamed of dashing captains, swashbuckling crews and laser battles that light up the void the way old space operas promised, we are working on something just for you.Completely different flavour of the ringsIt’s the ΔV you know, with the hard science dialled way down and the spectacle turned up. Perfect if you want quick, cinematic action or just need a break from rocket science. Not a fan of the cargo bay simulation? We'll remove it. No sound in space sounds boring? We are adding the thundering explosions and sonic booms in. Annoyed by lack of colour?…
- 1.78.7 - Persevering Curiosity - 28 August 2025
Additional moonlet encounter.Ships that are curious about you won't attempt to fly in formation when approaching you. This caused them to stop further away than they should in most cases, but fly too close to you if you rotated your ship while they were on approach. They will still attempt to not fly directly at you, but should stop at much more consistent distance and behave more reasonably.Sometimes ships that were curious about you did not initiate comms, even if they wanted to.Ephemeral events near the edges of the rings, such as derelict encounters, could randomly end up not cleared when you visited them, enabling you to salvage the same derelict twice or other shenanigans with events that were supposed to be one-off.Fixed some fonts on Eagle Prospector HUD (both Imperial and Metric)Bringing salvaged mines or other tampered drones along with a pirate lifepod or ship will not cause…
- 1.77.4 - Disaster Recovery - 28 July 2025
Fixes game crashing to desktop and writing a malformed settings file if no settings file was found (such as at first boot). This also includes a compatibility tool to automatically fix malformed setting files written by 1.77.2.
- 1.77.2 - Control Rods - 28 July 2025
You can now remap mouse buttons.New mouse button visuals for the OMS screen, more readable and accounting for more possible buttons on the mouse.Containers which are low on propellant will still follow direct orders if they acknowledge them, instead of flying back to the Enceladus station.Updated translations.
- 1.76.5 - Man of Focus - 20 July 2025
Fixed one single asteroid during tutorial splitting into many more fragments than it should.Fixed scrollbars appearing in option selectors which should easily fit on the screen.Adjusted visuals of option highlights.Fixed interface scaling for small screens - from 960 up to 1280px wide to ensure that all menus and settings are visible and readable. If your screen is below 1280px in width, you should notice that most on-screen elements are slightly smaller in order to fit the entire game interface. Screens of 1280x720px and bigger should not be affected in any way. This does not affect Steam Deck, as its native resolution is bigger than this. This did affect 1080p monitors in vertical orientation.Adjusted horizontal slider focused state display to make it more clear where your focus is while navigating the game with gamepad or keyboard. The most affected sliders are on the Dive Target Sel…
- 1.76.1 - Release the Maintenance - 16 July 2025
Maintenance Drones now work on friendly ships and drones. Using them this way is a friendly action. You can adjust vehicles they work on with your usual IFF controls.NPC AI is now more careful when flying damaged ships and not in life-or-death situation. This also applies to your damaged drones and derelict ships you attempt to salvage.Time-rate transitions are now applied gradually for all cutscenes in order to reduce numerical imprecisions in the physics simulation, which could lead into unresolved states in the physics system and things glitching out or exploding during some cutscenes.Fixed native tooltips sometimes showing up with "-" where they should not have.Additional workarounds for OSX OpenGL bugs that caused the game to crash if you used windowed display mode and resized the game window by moving it to an edge of the screen.More physically accurate electrical model for cradle…
- 1.74.19 - Burning Edge - 15 May 2025
Updated engine to Godot 3.6. Updated Steamworks to 1.62. Improved performance of burnfinding on single-core-bound systems. Improved performance of pending collision tests. Improved physics performance. Improved sensor reading performance on low-end machines. If you had a period in which your in-game framerate would be lower than a simulated framerate of refresh of your HUD hardware, HUD would remember how many times it wanted to refresh and accumulate all the missing reads, catching up once your framerate exceeded the threshold again. This neither looked good nor was good for performance. Adjusted plume visuals for most plumes. Previous settings used more GPU power and caused some visual glitches when you have fusion drives installed but underpowered and some RCS firing along them. Propellant and Transit Reserve readouts on your HUD will not be misaligned anymore when you install large…
- 1.73.5 - Recursive Feedback - 3 April 2025
Added visual damage model for CERF S&R ships. When damaged, they will now be more visibly beat up. LIDAR display preview while you were tuning it was off-center. If your ship was caught in a salvage manipulator of another ship, and you attempted to catch it in return, the game would crash. Salvage manipulators now require some minimal power to operate. If a ship loses power completely, the arm will lose its hold. B8 Claim Beacons accidentally booting up at the Enceladus station will not crash the game anymore. B8 claim beacons will not accidentally boot up at Enceladus either. People will not attempt to follow two personal agendas anymore. Previously, if you fired and re-hired the same person, they could end up in picking up an additional quest to peruse, and changed their mind about that randomly. If you fire your resident singer and hire someone else who fancies a career is showbusine…
- 1.72.13 - Vaporous Luminescence - 20 March 2025
When you astrogate back to the Enceladus Prime station, ships with parts sticking below the ring plane, like Conlido Cothon series radiators, would appear to pass underneath an asteroid while the whole ship passed over it. Additional workaround to prevent a race condition that causes a rare game crash on some systems when returning to Enceladus on a ship equipped with OCP-209 HUD. Story events will not trigger when you are deep into an astrogation sequence, or during a cutscene. Some of such events resulted in dialogues you had no opportunity to reply to. People you talked with used to get impatient as soon as you started an astrogation sequence with comms open. Now, they will wait until it looks like you are committing to the jump before losing their patience with you and demanding that you answer. Eon Interstellar unveiled an ambitious plan for a generation ship to colonize HD 20794d.…
- 1.72.6 - Preemptive Damage - 9 March 2025
Slightly increased the size of the cargo bay opening on ND-LIS Kitsune shuttle. Decreased the uranium crystal collider size to better match the displayed sprite and make it easier to ingest for smaller ships. Fixed a bug that caused most derelicts to be less damaged than they should have been. If a derelict story refers to a ship as highly damaged, it will actually be highly damaged once you recover it. Increased camera zoom when looking at the SRO service back at Enceladus.
- 1.72.4 - Scrapyard Shift - 6 March 2025
Exclusive Salvage Sighting Broadcasts Launched Scrapwright Recovery Operations now offers a subscription service granting independent contractors first access to derelict ship sightings, complete with transponder data and cargo details. While SRO claims this will improve salvage efficiency, the move comes amid growing concerns over falsified ship registrations and reactor sabotage. Some speculate that opening access to freelancers is a response to an ongoing investigation, though guild officials remain silent. Transponder Fraud Ring Dismantled Authorities on Enceladus Station uncovered a crime ring that built replica ships using transponders salvaged from wrecks, allowing them to pass as legitimate vessels. The fraudulent operation exploited salvage laws to conceal ship origins and avoid detection. Investigators acted swiftly, arresting those involved and seizing multiple illegally modi…

Antonoff's Ore Purifier Sparks Backlash Rusatom-Antonoff’s newly released Ore Purifier, marketed as an eco-friendly innovation, has come under fire for being a rework of defective Mineral Processing Units notorious for their faulty reactor coolant lines. The purifier replaces the problematic coolant system with electric heating elements, improving reliability and enabling efficient water sublimation and cryogenic capture for propellant reprocessing. However, the removal of mineral extraction functionality, along with increased power consumption and slower processing speeds, has drawn criticism from industry insiders. Many see it as a quick retrofit of flawed technology rather than a genuine step forward, further fueling concerns over Antonoff’s declining quality standards.
