• Speed Glitch Update - 30 November 2021

  Hello, Sakura of Dd Games here! Okay so..... for the last few (Months, 3X) we've been trying to fix a glitch that puts the gameplay in hyperdrive. Basically, it plays waaaay fast. Not enough to make it unplayable, but it is definitely awkward. The weirdest thing is that even earlier builds of the game (like, even the first build without ANY updates from 3 years ago) still have this bug now when they definitely didn't have it due to this bug being fairly recent. We think it is an engine update that makes all versions of this older game conflicted. We've looked into it online and have found nothing so here was our solution: rebalance the game around it and make it a story feature. Again, this glitch doesn't make the game unplayable (as far as we know), so we've added new dialogue addressing it in-game and even let players in on a way to cheese the combat if its still too much: Hold down s…

• Minor Update - 15 April 2020

  Admittedly, combat in The Mock Game has always been a bit complex. And thus, the tutorials teaching how to fight have been too lengthy. We've toyed with shorter wording and cut the fat to get the points across better in the past, but in the end, it was still simply too long and overwhelming. • Free Demo Now Available to try out!! - 18 April 2019

  The originaly unreleased free demo of Sakura and Crit: The Mock Game is now available to the public!! Follow along Sakura and Crit as they test out their demo BEFORE they dived into the full game. EDIT: If you have already purchased the game but want to try the demo for whatever reason, know that the demo is playable through the main game, if you beat it through the alternate ending.

• New Version 1.7 update!!! - 10 April 2019

  As of today, there is a brand new update live for The Mock Game. While we will continue to monitor the game for any problems, we are confident that this is the final large update the game will have (smaller updates may continue). Please enjoy all the enhanced and brand NEW features! Changes summary: -fixed numerous grammatical errors -changed low health alarm to something less loud -enhanced some of the sprite work -no more stagger mechanic, zombies fight just like ordinary enemies -re-balanced difficulty to be slightly more forgiving for new players -altered/changed/simplified many of the tutorial dialogues New content: -1 Brand New Level As always, we hope you enjoy the game, and will be available if you encounter any problems with the new build.

• Update version 1.5 - 20 August 2018

  I've gotten a few questions about the combat. So I've updated the explanation in Level 3 (and 4 if you chose to try that level before 3) so that it's easier to understand how to fight. It's definitely no fun when you die over and over again, so I hope the new combat explanation is sufficient. In addition to that, I've added in a handy health alarm to let you know when your health is getting close to death. This way, you'll know when to heal or avoid fighting better than from memory of how many times you've been hit. As always I hope you enjoy the game!!!
