As of last night, Kilcount is now a free game! No strings attached! If you have the slightest notion that you might enjoy it, please enjoy a copy on the house! And don't worry- I haven't locked my favorite parts behind a DLC wall: there is no longer any kind of monetization attached to the game. I'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who supported this project with their wallets. It means so much to me that you would take a chance on a title with no hype, no budget and no Adults-Only 18+ patch. I think the overwhelming support for indie developers is one of the absolute best things about Steam as a platform. Buy a couple more cheap passion projects this holiday season and I can guarantee you'll make some lonely dev's day brighter…

You would not believe what a year I've had! Developing Kilcount has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I'd like to thank everyone who gave this game a shot through the Steam Summer Sale, and hope you found some measure of pleasure in it. It's really stunning to see this project out in the wild. - - - Version 1.04 Changes Northrig Map - One common comment I received was that the ship is confusing to navigate. Well, I haven't changed that at all, but I added a usable map that can be accessed from the Northrig (the big common hall outside of where you start the game) !
