- Times & Galaxy v. 1.13.5060 - The Copybot Patch - 4 October 2024
This is Patch 5 already. Times flies like a spaceship. Fast. Time moves fast. In this patch, which we are calling the 'Copybot' Patch, we focused heavily on some key issues reported by players and scores of polish. There are still some known issues to be patched in (we are working on them as you read this probably). Highlights of the Copybot Patch include fixing a scripting issue that was making it impossible to unlock the Gearheaded Gourmand achievement/trophy. To unlock it, you must: eat the cat treats at the cat show; drink Nitro-chug at the robo fights; eat glowing veggies or mushrooms at the dirt fair; and drink both oil and coffee from a machine on the Scanner. If you have done all of these in a single playthrough, drink coffee on the Scanner to unlock. To see a list of fixes and issues we are currently working to fix, click here. Thank you for playing Times & Galaxy. Since release we have been gathering bug reports from players who have encountered issues we didn't catch prior to release. This first post-launch patch is focused on making sure the game is running smoothly without any major speed bumps. We've addressed some significant issues found including fixes to the Scanner Map, logic gating a couple conversations and achievements. The patch also fixes any reported issues that have softlocked players’ games or, in a couple super nasty cases, eaten saves. We continue to work on bug fixes and text/art polish. We're only 3 days out from launch, so we figured it’s finally time for a page-one feature on one of the game's best features - the strange and wonderful beings that populate Times & Galaxy’s Dorp System! Where did they come from, in terms of both narrative plotting and visual design? Only creative director Ben Gelinas and character artist Bridget Gibson know for sure, but they were kind enough to share some insights. XEEL The xeel are easily the most technologically advanced of the Dorp System’s inhabitants. This is because they’re not from Dorp at all. The highly intelligent goo-species were cruising through the cosmos when their ship broke down, stranding them here.
